Was thinking about making a comeback. And by comeback, I mean the occasional clip because I'm definitely not gonna be consistent. But there's been a lot of stuff worth posting in recent times. Any recent anime I should check out or post dub clips of?

@didiuyow Hoyo can't use AI voices without AI training data. The VAs are not protected. And they aren't bullies. Jacob was a scab and got off very lightly with some mild disappointment. Meanwhile, striking actors got nonstop harassment and death threats.

@SimplyAllegra I follow a lot of VAs on here and even though I'm on hiatus, I still lurk. Most VAs I follow are obviously progressive. VAs being bigots is pretty rare, although still disappointing to see.

@pimpmuffin07 What's frustrating is a lot of them are sourcing real documents and articles on the subject, but don't have enough context to understand the full extent of what they entail. So they just make assumptions instead of listening to the VAs who've explained it over and over

@Farid_Abd99 @faggotarina 1 Hoyo does not pay union rates. 2 Fi Core actors can get medical coverage. 3 They do not have AI protections. Sound Cadence says they won't use voices for AI. But they aren't the client. Hoyo is. They own the voices and can use them for AI unless they sign a union contract.

But most of the union actor who worked on Hoyo is Fi-Core who wouldn't get those benefit, againts AI? But studio already has them
