@JooAfon58917647 @SaffronOlive I don't like banning a mechanically unique old card for a UB card either, but banning seeker was 100% the right choice here. It would form a combo with any tap/untap payoff by itself as a one card engine. Far more restrictive to the future design space than the bow.

@SaffronOlive Banning an old card that always existed instead the new one( the bow) . With the amount of set releases there will be another combo in the near future so not effective at all. Also sneacky snacker has been a problematic card since its release being in almost every tier deck.

Can we just have the Pauper Format Panel do the bans for every format?

@MakeVarahHappen I hadn't seen that CH update, mb. But at the end of the day I think WOTC should really focus on their official formats. Part of the thing with 3rd party ones is you get to play with unique card sets and rules anyways. Not that it really matters what I think, I don't work at WOTC.

@MakeVarahHappen Unless what you're worried about is the casual-competitive split. But I'd argue commander has made that worse than ever already, and removing its cards from the tournament legal pool wouldn't really change anything in that regard.
