#VAR is killing the soul of football. It drains the excitement, delays the joy of a goal, and turns every big moment into a tedious wait for a decision. The debates, the controversies, the instant celebrations..gone. Football was never meant to be played in slow motion. ☹️

@StigMland1 If football had VAR in the 1700s they would have needed an hour to check if the ball crossed the line using a sketch artist and a candle. Just because something’s new doesn’t mean it’s better, sometimes it just makes things slower and more frustrating / boring 😀

@TorqueOfTheToon If VAR was introduced in football at the time football started late year 1700 «nobody» would complain. It all comes down to what people are used to. Changes, technology is a part of everything. I agree that VAR is not perfect. But I think we just need to get used to it.
