@FoodProfessor Manitoba doesn’t pay this tax on groceries. This only effects chips, pop etc. only people with the iq of a rock fall for these smoke and mirrors tactics

@RealAlbanianPat Let him call it, he hasn’t done a thing for the tax payers that believed his election promises. Let them speak after all this time has passed and his best was saving $0.04 on milk

Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew is cutting the tax on groceries in his province. Today, we again pressed on Scott Moe to do the same — a move that would save struggling Saskatchewan families $25 million per year. Instead, Moe cracked jokes in the Legislature. Saskatchewan has the highest financial anxiety in Canada — I don't think that's funny at all. Good on you, Premier Kinew, for stepping up to support people. (This photo was taken last May when I stopped by his office to talk trade, export development and being on Team Canada!)

@ctvottawa Lay them off. Working from home is always the answer from the lazy, look at after Covid all those office staff saying they need to stay home cause can’t afford daycare. Enough hands out already and, while at it start cutting able bodied people off social assistance

@ChrisDca What an accomplishment seeing how we don’t have it on groceries already. Almost as bad as his 4 cent savings on milk

@WabKinew Cancelling carbon taxes would be better since real groceries don’t even have this already. This only helps people that eat crap

No tax on groceries. That’s right, we’re taking all provincial taxes off food from the grocery store. Breaking Budget Day news you can use... That quick stop on the way home picking up the rotisserie chicken,  salad and drinks for the family - right now, you’re paying PST on that. Once our budget passes … you won’t pay PST anymore. Real savings for real life. Right where it matters most. Making life more affordable for Manitobans. A lot done. A lot more to do. 🦬

Dawson Trail’s MLA left the PCs to sit as an independent. For folks in Dawson Trail and across rural Manitoba, what matter are results. Our team is building rinks, said no to the Sio Silica project, and works hard for rural health care. On election night, I said that if we make life more affordable and fix health care in rural Manitoba, I’d humbly ask rural Manitobans to give our team a look. We’re going to keep delivering. 🦬

@Zayngive_s @Nithya_Shrii If you were rejected or ignored there was a reason or someone beat you to it which at that point we don’t even go back to read it cause busy helping the one that got hired. It’s used as a filter and nothing else. Don’t care who you are

@Nithya_Shrii When we post a job I get 100+ resumes a day. First filter I use is location. We don’t do remote work, and out of the 100 over half are in a different city or country. Immediately ignored or read further. At interview I’ll still ask if you have transportation also.

@seankelly014 @PierrePoilievre Prime minister doesn’t do anything, he’s scared of the us. Also positive the pm is well aware like they were when they briefed and sent in Jamil. You need to just look at the bigger picture. Us don’t want to talk or deal with liberal party and we need the us.

Tomorrow I am travelling to the United States to stand up for Canadian workers and fight for tariff-free access to our closest neighbour and the world's largest economy. Canada must continue to make our case on how free trade is a win-win for both the Canadian and American people.
