The integrity of Aston Villa right now is very very alarming! Aston Villa playing on Sunday evening against a relegation battling Spurs whilst their European opposition and also relegation battling Nottingham Forest play Chelsea on Monday night. Villa had the comfort of "resting" players as they are within the top 5 with a 7 point buffer of 6th and an eye on the semi final 2nd leg on Thursday night have lost to Spurs this putting pressure on Forest. Forest now have to play Chelsea and knowing that a defeat will add pressure at the bottom of the table... So how can they have the luxury of resting players for the semi final on Thursday? Isn't football suppose to be a "fair game". Villa fielding a team, which had 7 changes from the previous gameweek, in tonights game has already angered many clubs, especially West Ham United - who played a full strength Aston Villa team just two months ago and lost. Spurs played well, but played against what felt a very "held back" version of Aston Villa. The football regulators really needs to investigate this because there could be a few official complaints made towards the dictatorship of the top tier English league.
