@McCormackMusic Come on guys you need to set up your own jam sessions. Fuck these clubs that charge you to come in and play. The way to combat that is to boycott all the clubs that charge musicians to play and let them have a jam session with nobody to jam you’ll see how quick they change.

There’s rumours of a UK Jazzclub now charging musicians £10 to enter for the jam session. I think considering the value live music adds to the paying customers’ experience, the very least the establishment can do is admit them no charge with gratitude.
