PRAYER TO ST. JOSEPH FOR EMPLOYMENT Dear Saint Joseph, faithful guardian of the Holy Family and model of workers, you were once faced with the responsibility of providing the necessities of life for Jesus and Mary. Look down with fatherly compassion upon my current needs. See my desire to work, the efforts I am currently making, and my hopeful waiting. Strengthen me in my weakness and keep my hope steady. Please help me find gainful employment very soon, so that I may be able to provide for those whom God has entrusted to my care. Intercede for me, that doors long closed may begin to open, and that opportunities suited to my gifts and dignity may come without delay. Guide those who make workplace decisions, that I may be remembered, considered, and chosen. Saint Joseph, patron of workers and protector of families, pray for peace in every workplace. Where there is tension, bring calm; where there is injustice, bring fairness; where there is division, bring understanding; where there is exploitation, restore dignity. Prepare for me not just a job, but a place of growth, respect, and peace. Help me guard against discouragement, so that I may emerge from this trial spiritually enriched and with even greater blessings from God. Amen. MEMORARE TO ST. JOSEPH Remember, O most pure spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary, my great protector, Saint Joseph, that no one ever had recourse to your protection, or implored your aid without obtaining relief. Confiding therefore in your goodness, I come before you. Do not turn down my petitions, foster father of the Redeemer, but graciously receive them. Amen. St. Joseph Patron of Workers, Pray for Us.

It’ll reach a stage in your life that sons of man will want to pay you to make babies for them. I’m in the first in my lineage to “behear” this kind of a thing.

Thursday, 22 April 2021. Around this time, I listened to the worst voice note I ever received thus far. It was my mom telling me my dad had died. He died at 1:30 AM, but my mom left us to sleep because she didn’t want us to lose sleep. She was at the hospital for 4 good hours alone with his body. Till date, I still believe he’s going to come back. I still get dreams of him telling me not to cry. We were all very close to my father, but I was the closest. My alpha male…he did no wrong in my eyes🤣 and this frustrated my mom sometimes. People were scared for me and how I was going to survive. We survived the pain nonetheless. It’s still very hard, but we have learned to live with the pain. One thing I am forever grateful for is the relationship we had with our father. He was such a soft spoken man with a very contagious laughter. He only spoke when necessary. He respected himself and others so much and everyone loved this about him. He was extremely intelligent and made sure he passed down every knowledge and skill he had. This is how I know his life was a fulfilled one. “You have not truly lived until you pass down every knowledge you have”. He gathered the street boys of Ayaba street and taught them tennis free of charge. All of them are now abroad. They are the ones who sponsored his funeral. Not to talk of German and Engineering he taught. Most of my values, especially honesty, I copied from my father. He was a GREAT MAN! If you still have your lovely father alive, spend time with him and cherish every moment. ❤️ Oh! This day also happens to be my parents’ wedding anniversary.

TRUE STORY: GHOST DO EXISTS. I was friends with this lady who always told me if she died before me, she was going to come visit me. For some reason she so much loved me. Fast forward to many years later, one day she called me saying she was in Bamenda, she came to write an exam and if I could host her. She came to our house and even met my Mum. We spent the whole night chatting and catching up on life cause it had been long we hadn’t seen each other. The next day she left early to go do what she’d come for; I hugged her and was expecting her to return later in the day before she travels back. After we separated I received a call from her mum telling me my friend had passed. She died the night before, that is the night she came to my house. In shock I told her mum we spent the night together but apparently I spent the night with a ghost. One thing I noticed was she never ate nor did she take a shower. During her burial I told her I never wanted to see her again and I’ve never seen her again since then.

Game of Thrones is just too goated! The world building is ridiculously deep and comprehensive. From the layered characters to the rich histories, the lands and intricate family lineages. Even the fictional settings feel alive and unforgettable. My favourite fictional location is Westeros.

Manekang.

The Catholic University can form pioneers of a new humanism in the context of the digital revolution. This is a service to the truth and to all humanity. Without this demanding educational effort, passive adaptation to dominant paradigms will be mistaken for competence, and the loss of freedom for progress. #ApostolicJourney #Cameroon
