@CombosDoodles No, it's not, it's just VERY niche and very unforgiving unlike the more causal accepting Cocomelon Raiders. Also, a lot of the negative discourse has been shown to be set up from multiple Discord's and paying people for said posts

@Silent_SFM It's a very big learning process and time commitment to get into, but the past 4 years, DE has been a well oiled machine (outside of a few hick-ups,) and if you can get into it, the game is well worth it. Genuinely one of the only Live Service games to do it right

@Dare_To_Exist That's my issue, I personally don't think they leaned into it that hard, whenever you look at her Prime that's way more prominent, and ESPECIALLY when you have other talented people in the community who've made designs that give a better homage to her classy western style.

@ToxicRamFam Mesa always had a very "cowboy" theme to her. Liger took some wild west fantasy inspiration and took the standard creative liberties they always do. I don't get people being upset about this.

I just hope Sandfall can take these lessons, make the next thing the best they can, be more up-front, all while the real issues of Microslop and OpenAI can go bankrupt and never operate again

@Draw0Distance @Krekkov I'm not saying IGA lied, I'm saying that we don't know how IGA knew Sandfall lied specifically. And in terms of the article, I honestly think we're reading it in 2 different ways of how they said no GenAI, i.e. no GenAI going forward vs lying about it in the article.

I even posted their statement/video for you, Sandfall told them directly that no genAI was used and then backtracked on the day of the awards. So which excuse are you gonna make for them now?

All this points too is they did use it, they learned from it and moving forward, they won't. As for IGA's, we don't know if they lied as in the steam page or not, IGA didn't specify

@ToxicRamFam @Krekkov Them lying is indefensible bc they actually admitted to using genAI *in July* and THEN started claiming they didn't afterwards So first they were upfront, then started claiming no genAI afterwards to save face, then YET AGAIN admitted to it after it got more attention + the IGAs

@Draw0Distance @Krekkov Through the steam page where you are meant to disclose, so they did "lie", having it for PH's doesn't make it better, it being from 2022 (where we had no idea it would get this bad with GenAI), and having no further intention for it, it's a lesson that they've learned going on

@kelskiYT Yeah, started the game a few days ago and just had a guy who pointed out defib and looting Mk3 blueprints for me to have. The choice to where you either can be friend, foe, backstabber, helper, it's all what makes the game special, and fuck anyone trying to say otherwise

This right here man So annoying how many people call this a “boring larp game” or that some ARC Raiders players are pussies for avoiding PvP etc. This is why it’s so special. Acts of kindness are entirely up to you. Of course Jamie could’ve just domed this guy and took the loot, who cares right? It’s a game right? But just as it’s satisfying to outplay someone, it’s just as fulfilling, if not more so, to HELP your fellow man in their time of need Sure it’s a game, but you’re still in a lobby with REAL people. In an era where rage baiting and being a dickhead is cool and normal, maybe try having some decency once in a while What’s the matter lagerboy, afraid you might taste compassion for once?
