So let me get this straight. Phil Mickelson allegedly had an affair. That’s between him, his wife, and his family. Since when did adultery become a public offense that requires a jury of strangers? Then we get to the misconduct claims. An article full of allegations suddenly becomes “proof” because enough people repeat it. Making a move on a woman who says no is called getting rejected. Unless there was coercion, threats, retaliation, or continued harassment after being told no, being turned down is not automatically sexual misconduct. We’ve gotten to the point where accusations are treated like convictions and headlines are treated like verdicts. That’s a dangerous standard. If someone committed actual misconduct, prove it and hold them accountable. But if the standard is simply, “Someone accused him, so he’s guilty,” then none of us should be comfortable with where that leads.

In all seriousness, all of this is sad. RC captain, Masters ceremonial drives, legendary broadcaster, even YouTube content. Phil should’ve had it all in golf forever and obviously threw it away. It sucks.
I hope he’s alright and hope we haven’t seen him golf for the final time.

Phil Mickelson is pushing back hard after allegations got him kicked out of his own golf club.
The six-time major winner has retained defamation counsel and says "false rumors" are being spread about an incident involving a female employee at The Farms Golf Club in California.
Club officials say they investigated a misconduct complaint and revoked his membership. Mickelson's attorney says surveillance video will absolve him and that legal action could follow against those spreading misinformation.
The golf legend has played just one LIV Golf event this season while dealing with a personal family health issue.

🚨🚔⛳️ #NEW — According to a @nypost exclusive report, The San Diego County Sheriff’s office has confirmed that they investigated the alleged “nonconsensual, inappropriate contact” surrounding Phil Mickelson and a female employee at The Farms GC in Rancho Santa Fe, California.
In statement, the Sheriff’s office told The California Post that it “made attempts to locate any evidence to support the potential allegation of a sexual assault” but said “at this time, we have not located any evidence to show an assault has occurred.”
“The Sheriff's Office would absolutely investigate further if provided additional evidence or information. We encourage anyone with information regarding an incident such as this to reach out to the Sheriff's Office.”
The allegations first came to light today as part of a @GolfDigest investigation, citing sources which revealed Mickelson was no longer a member at The Farms GC as a result of the alleged misconduct. The report says the 6-time major winner was pulled from the course in the middle of his round and told to vacate the premises after being confronted about the incident.
