@deltchevpiked I’ve always wondered this, like say with Skye’s mistake on bars this week, could you go up and do a handstand then continue over and turn it into I don’t know what but if you don’t break form or rhythm there’s no deduction?

PSA: Going over the wrong way on a pirouette is not a huge deduction on its own. The judges can only judge what they see in front of them, they can’t say you deviated from your intended routine. So if you cover it up well you might only get deducted for a couple short handstands

Kayo seems to be enforcing account sharing now. Got an email saying my password was reset for “suspected sharing” — never had this happen before. Looks like even Premium can’t be shared with, say, your parents who don’t live with you (because of different IP addresses). Feel for the many Australians already struggling in this economy.

@sbregman87 @corymtomlinson To the fan score average because I think there’s inherent bias when people are scoring when you already know what score a routine has been given (or if you’ve already seen outrage about it 🤣). But I generally watch meets late without so I would like to test myself against others

@sbregman87 @corymtomlinson Disclaimer that I have no idea how these things work or if it’s even possible but it would be cool if you could judge after the meet. Like keep the scores (fan and official) private and then you submit your scores and see how they stack up. Maybe these scores don’t contribute

@TracyBsays She’s been a bars mainstay so clearly doesn’t have the same issues she does on beam. Maybe it’s the “five people hit so I don’t have to worry about it” thing but I lowkey hate when they do that lol especially if someone fucks up and then all the pressure’s on the headcase anchor

@CoachOwenField @AmandaCampau As an Australian, when I came to ncaa nationals in 2013, I was talking to people there and shocked there wasn’t better. Perhaps it’s not the best part of our culture but we’ll bet on anything 🤣

It wouldn’t shock me if it comes soon. I think there would be a lot of positives and negatives associated with that… #NCAAGym in particular could offer a TON of creative options and it would certainly drive viewership and interest if it were to take off. The major downside would be in line with the issues you hear about in most other sports… added external pressures to student athletes, people questioning the integrity of completion, etc.
