@NC_Governor @NCDOT My family loves taking short trips between Cary, Raleigh and Durham. Downtown to downtown in 18 minutes, no car or parking needed. I wish we could do it more often. Even once per hour train would be a huge improvement, and it would be always on time unlike long-distance trains.

@NC_Governor @Urban_Connector @NCDOT Is there an interest to increase lines by purchasing abandoned tracks before they’re converted into a trail system? I’d abandon my car in a heartbeat for a robust rail network. A network that connects our families to UNC campuses is a great goal👏

If we want a city built for cars in all but a tiny % of our land, that favors corporate developers, and sprawls at unsustainably low densities… then we are well on our way.
