Today would have been/is Maude’s Birthday - I’m working away in Budapest. I can’t be with Clara and my family on the Heath. But there is a beautiful church nearby.I will light a candle and think of what was lost -our beautiful daughter Maude- but also, what we have.

@reece_dinsdale It’s one of the worst things, unfortunately my stepmother sold my family home without telling me I went to see her one week and the next week someone else was living there, have no idea his she did it in a week but lost all my memories along with my mom’s wedding dress 😞

Strange when you see the house you grew up in go on the market… the house where all your memories of your late dad, your best friend are. When you’re young, nobody tells you about this emotional shit.

Our Documentary about the loss of our daughter Maude will be shown this Thursday at 9pm on @ITV It is an open account of the loss of a child within a family. Our hope is, it might give some comfort to others like us and increase awareness of sepsis. Please do watch if you can.

@GrantSana Absolutely, people tell me all the time what a great Nanny I am to my Granchildren. It’s totally because, you appreciate every second you get to spend with them, after you have experienced the loss of a child. I had empty arms for too long. Now my arms and my heart are full ❤️

Someone just told me as I minding my own business waiting for a coffee, that I’m making a rod for my own back by holding the baby’s hand when she’s going off to sleep.!? Some people will just wear their trauma like a badge. It’s the privilege of my life to hold her hand

@rest_upstairs we visited for our first time on Wednesday, the food was an explosion on our taste buds it was really was fabulous and excellent service and attention, really looking forward to returning
