What the normie struggling with health doesn’t understand is that their favourite online health guru spends every day surfing in Costa Rica, hunting sharks with their bare hands, climbing Swiss mountains and getting more sunlight in a week than they get in six months.
You have a desk job, irritable bowel syndrome, fluorescent office lighting and the last time you spent meaningful time outdoors was when your car broke down on the motorway.
You can’t eat exactly like them. The same portions or even the same foods. Your tolerance will be different. Lifestyle is the intervention.
The good news is that this isn’t necessarily permanent. As your health improves, your resilience improves too.
But pretending your circumstances and physiology are identical to someone living in perpetual adventure mode (and copying their dietary moves) is a great way to stay frustrated, fat and stuck in life.
