Is everyone content mostly reach their followers only ? I mean , it’s working against you if you want to grow your audience, I think TikTok and YouTube push creators content a bit wider no? Only 15% of my impressions come from the outside that could help growing an account

@MoravianTrader As you said, I think things can change fast if/when the war in Iran ends. That market just loves to keep us on our toes, it seems.

@TraderQuest150 Actually, a better way to put it is: I wouldn't touch shorts if we break and hold above the Jan highs.

Day 49 | Thursday: Flat Again Knew exactly a few minutes after I closed up shop yesterday that I'd be sidelined today. "Moravian is out... dump it." Yeah, fuck you, I'm not getting trapped shorting the range lows. Nice try tho. I don't care if we break down or bounce back into the chop abyss. I'll short a confirmed breakdown, or I'll short a bounce higher up in the range. Just not participating in the slaughter line down here. Probably flat tomorrow too since the witches are out...

@Brownmoose C’est peut-être parce que tu as un grand nombre d’abonnés? C’est plus facile pour l’algo de pousser mon contenu à des non-abonnés comme j’ai seulement 200 abonnés à mon compte 😆

Day 135 1 for 2: +$194 today. Not going to lie...ending green on the day is somewhat of a relief, but my mental game was not sharp at all. Took a small loss after being up 1.5R and hesitated to close literally at the peak of the move. That one hurt my ego real bad. I’ve rarely felt this frustrated after a loss, most likely due to unresolved emotions from the past few trading days. Closed my winning trade as PnL was increasing, but surprised myself by screaming at NQ during a nasty pullback, already anticipating I’d get stopped out again. Price recovered as I regained some mental focus and forced myself to close on an uptick. Didn’t like that version of me today. But tomorrow will be much better.

@Brownmoose I think those stats are for likes. Unless you have similar stats for impressions? About 2/3 of my impressions came from non-follower accounts. Also, couldn’t help but notice another fellow French Canadian 🤝 That explains the exotic poutine you had for lunch today 😂

@TraderQuest150 Nice! I caught the massive long in the middle of NY (on MNQ). Recovered last night’s Asia losses and broke even for the day.

Recap of today's winning trade (+20 points). Traded the breakout above high of day on $NQ on the 2-min (11:04 AM candle). After getting stopped out on the first attempt, I waited for bears to fail at pushing price below the breakout candle. Entry at 529.75 with 7.75 points of risk (1 mini). Target: high of day. Never went more than 3 points in drawdown, but the pullback on the post-entry candle from 548 to 530 got me acting like a madman. As price recovered, my focus was to close as PnL increased (above 548). Price broke and held above 540, then as it pushed into the high 40s, I closed at 549.75 for a 2.5R win.

@SSJTRADES Do you have a certain number of trades after which you walk away for the day, or a max daily loss amount? I’ve always used a max daily loss amount but am now considering whether a max number of trades would make sense as well.

@RealizedTrader I just love how you break everything down yet keep it so simple. Thinking and acting from a place of wholeness makes perfect sense. I think I’ll try stepping away and doing a quick set of push-ups to snap out of it. Will let you know how it goes next time! 🤝

After a trade, especially one that lingers, I’ll pause and ask myself... “What would a steady version of me do right now?” The one that already has it all. The one that's fully capitalized or funded. The one that's already made it. Not what I feel like doing. Not what would fix the last trade. Just how that version of me would move. Usually the answer is simple. Sit. Wait. Let it go. Or don’t trade. That question creates a little space between the emotion and the action. Pair that with something physical like slowing your breathing or stepping away, and it becomes easier to actually follow through. At the end of the day it’s less about controlling the feeling and more about not letting it decide for you.

+$2571 on my @Topstep XFAs! +$857 x3 accounts. Amazing week so far. Puts me up $5208. Was dreading this session as well because I went down $300 last night trading Asia. Quickly realized it was a choppy market and felt myself going on tilt. Didn’t think twice and locked myself out and waited for NY. Caught an amazing short off the open and then a gold long. Feels good to have self control. #DayTrader
