@MargaretRBrodie @RubiconOrganics i think your company is great. your stock on the other hand, has 2 massive ugly gaps. It'd be nice on this downtrend or upcoming summer lulll if you could get the team to stop buying, and buy after the gap fills. i know you guys will be buying.

American staff took everything Chinese officials handed out - credentials, burner phones from WH staff, pins for delegation - collected them before we got on AF1 and threw them in a bin at bottom at stairs. Nothing from China allowed on the plane. We’re taking off shortly for America

@TraderRaw @JustDirmax No. It’s fair. They’re both hanging from the bridge. It doesn’t matter the angle or the distance between the bridge and the water. What could make is a difference though is what exactly they’re holding onto.

@userunique23 @JustDirmax the closer you are to the bottom of the arc, the more angle you have vs. someone in the middle of the bridge no?

The $GME situation is wild. The CEO Ryan Cohen has an options package for 171m shares that he can earn if he hits certain market cap and EBITDA hurdles. The crazy thing is that this is not adjusted for dilution. He needs the market cap to be $20b to get the first tranche but he can just issue a crapload of shares! This is why he wants to buy $EBAY.

Wealthsimple hit 100 billion in AUM. Same week they rolled out one dollar futures, zero fee options, real time charts down to one minute. The Big Six could match those products tomorrow if they wanted. They cannot because their cores cannot. Order routing, market data licensing, per trade risk checks, settlement plumbing. That is the moat. Years of backend work nobody talks about until someone hits 100 billion.

Will Smith is reportedly worth over $350 million with significant assets, so a divorce settlement would typically suggest Jada Pinkett Smith could receive around 40%. However, during a recent court discussion, it was claimed she may not receive anything because she allegedly violated the terms of their marriage by having an “entanglement” with singer August Alsina, which some argue could void the agreement.

I do a variation of this when I go to watch live music shows. The bar can get crowded and it can be difficult to get a drink, so I'll go to the bartender as soon as I walk in and tip him heavily, usually more than my group's drinks will cost for the night. The bartender always lights up and says he's got us for the night. Then, every time one of us needs a drink,it doesn't matter how crowded it is or what the line looks like. He looks past the crowd and finds us at the back, I hold up a couple fingers to indicate I want two, and he pours what he knows we like. Costs twice as much this way but makes the experience 5 times better. The show is always better that way. I will definitely try your tipping method at the next restaurant I go to.

I sent a couple to dinner in San Francisco tonight and gave one small instruction ahead of time. The guy handling it was completely confused, which made me realize how backwards most people think about this. I told him don’t tip at the end, take care of the waiter immediately at the beginning. He looked at me like I was crazy, but that’s exactly the point. Most people reward after the outcome, when it no longer changes the behavior or service you’ll receive. By then, you’re just saying thank you for whatever you got. Incentives drive everything and timing matters more than size. When you set expectations upfront, the entire experience changes because now the waiter is working for you, not just doing their job at the restaurant. It sounds small, but it’s the same principle everywhere in life. The people who align incentives early are the ones who control outcomes. He just called me after dinner and couldn’t believe it. Said the service wasn’t just good, it was exceptional and it felt like they were celebrities the entire night. Same restaurant, same menu, same waiter, completely different outcome. Try it sometime and thank me later. 🌹

$BKI Black Iron. This is hilarious. The RAB Capital guys were selling like crazy on anything above like 0.10 because why not? Why would you not make free profit knowing very well you can buy back your exact position at 0.10 + a free warrant? lol. what a joke.

@Shasheen_ It's all about perspective & expectations. Since you know he's not capable of providing, you didn't expect much from him? If mine did this and I did this, it'd be over. It's my expectation and a Husband's responsibility to protect their wife, whether that's physical or mental.

I told my boyfriend that I didn’t get the promotion and guy just hissed and said “their loss” I thought that was the end of it cos we all know men don’t do emotional stuff But last night his mum called and said “I heard what happened “ and this woman proceeded to tell me how she was overlooked 4 times too.. After the call, I texted him why and he replied “ I didn’t know what to say, but I knew she would” 🥺

@bruce_barrett I haven't gone back to a Tim Hortons in years. There are flies sitting on donuts left on the counter. The place is dirty as hell, imagine what the back looks like. It's all min-wage people, no one cares anymore. Frankly I'm not sure it's the immigration programs, stats would help
