It only takes one read of Reminiscences of a Stock Operator to realize the same issues that plague traders today were the same from a hundred+ years ago. Consistent profitability in the markets has the same formula and processes, because human nature hasn't changed since the beginning of our existence. The same flight/fight mechanisms in your brain appear when it's under perceived threat.

@DodgysDD Any tips on the full ports? I full ported 10 accounts and they all were at 55k (2k above profit) but only the lead closed out at 55k, all the others were behind and ended up closing at 51.5k. I did not have a limit placed for TP before cpi released, could this be why?

@Anfortiz_ @TempoICT Its subjective, each can produce aggressive reversals where IFVG form. It is relative to the current dealing range!

I have a 72% win rate because of this simple and mechanical strategy. I only trade two tickers, $NQ and $ES I trade inside the same window everyday (9:30-11am est) I mark my high time frame areas of liquidity for the day Then I sit on the 1m timeframe and wait for price to sweep my level Once that level is swept I wait for price to form a FVG and enter long/short once that gap is inversed 1R–2R TP and wait And I do this live every day

@RektButRight1 @TempoICT It depends on your bias, PDL / Session Low if bullish & PDH / Session Highs if bearish.

Your value as a trader isn't measured on one trade, it's built on how you apply the lessons from each of those trades going forward. Be patient with yourself, stick to your process, and remember, you're building something bigger than any single transaction.

Setbacks are tuition for mastery. Every great trader has paid that tuition. The key is making each setback a learning experience.

Your main focus during conditions like we've recently had is risk management, which also includes trade frequency. Your trading model should include protocols to trade through times like this. If you don't have protocols in place, is there a better time than now?

Last year I bought a 12 acre equestrian farm. It wasn’t just to flex, it had a purpose behind it.👇 Purchase price : $1.6m Loan terms: 15 year fixed @ 5.75% Down payment : $400k Tax savings via Cost Seg : $500k What is cost Seg? Imagine you buy a LEGO set. The IRS says the whole thing loses value slowly over 39 years. But cost seg is like saying “wait — the stickers wore out in 5 years, the wheels broke in 7 years, the baseplate lasted 15 years.” By splitting it into faster-wearing pieces, you get to write off more money now instead of waiting forever. Less taxable income today = less taxes today. You can’t depreciate land so the 12 acres is meaningless… so what else? 2 barns with 26 horse stables 2 covered trailer storage areas 4 wells A 24kw and 48kw generator 500 gallon propane tank Diesel tanks for equipment 2 garages Landscape lighting Fencing Groom/wash stations Security system Multiple septic tanks/water systems Total cost depreciable $1.2M (can’t depreciate the main living quarters) Projected annual revenue at boarding max capacity assuming $1500/stall full service: $468,000/yr The $500k I would have wired to the IRS went straight into a cash flowing property that can appreciate over time. Every time I cut the grass, or make a repair, all tax deductible. The fixed costs (mortgage, etc.) paid for by running a proper operation. Zoned as commercial/agricultural = property taxes dirt cheap. Receive a Cattle credit by just plopping a few cows onto the land. It’s not in the middle of nowhere either… 15 minutes away from a sleepy billionaire hotspot that is developing. Benefit is that all the surrounding agricultural property are owned by the wealthy who want to keep it agricultural. Also, It’s cool to see my neighbor riding her horse down the road to walk her dog in the mornings.

"I'll make it back eventually" is the most expensive lie in prop trading. $50K account. 80/20 split. $500 challenge fee. At 3% monthly, you break even on the fee in your first payout. Month 2 onward is pure profit. At 1%? Still underwater after 6 months. Know if you'll make your money back before you trade — not after. Like & reply PROP and I'll DM you a free tool to calculate your ROI on fees 👇

@TradersConf Have you back tested the model? What’s the win rate? What’s the average RR? What’s the best time the model performs? What’s your worst performing days? What’s your best performing days? Dig deep and refine your model, you must form the model around your personality.

I've been trading for almost 4 years, haven't managed to take a single penny out, while I keep buying funded accounts almost every month. I'm trying my best to stick with the strategy I started with so I can master it. My biggest problem is consistency.. I keep having good weeks/months, but I blow everything when things change in the markets and I get lost in the noise. Every time I manage to get back on track and adapt to the markets, things change again, and I fall down again. Looks like I adapt too slowly, but oh man it's hard.. When I look at my mentor, I see that he adapts quickly, sees new opportunities and executes great trades, but I'm getting lost in the dust he's leaving behind. The strategy doesn't change at all, but sometimes previously great pairs perform bad and previously bad pairs perform very great, and I fail to see that shift in the markets. When my mentor makes 12% in a single day, I take only losers. Maybe I'm just being soft and need to lock in harder, but I've been struggling with this issue for way too long man.

This is absolutely insane: At 7:04 AM ET today, President Trump said “the US and Iran have had productive discussions" to end the Iran War. By 7:10 AM ET, the S&P 500 surged +240 points adding +$2 TRILLION in market cap. 27 minutes later, Iran completely denied all of President Trump's claims and said there has been "no contact" with the US. By 8:00 AM ET. the S&P 500 had fallen -120 points erasing -$1 trillion in market cap. That's a $3 TRILLION swing market cap in 56 minutes, just in the S&P 500. What is happening here?
