I am a sole trader and have been in trading from last 6 years and its been more than a year I am working with pips. In a gold there are millions of trades opened and this is not a big deal and IP you said same? Instant account rush continues, $25k @QtFunded Instant almost up $1k in last 2 days. I traded tentative red folder news today on my QT Instant account. Will it get my payout rejected? No, because here's the hack to trade tentative news properly without risking a rejection: Trading tentative red folder news is allowed with QT. You just need to make sure to avoid trading 5min before/after the official news release time. But because "Tentative" means the official release time isn't fixed, so if we can estimate the usual release time, we then only have to avoid trading 5 min before/after window on funded accounts only. So what I like to do is study the usual release pattern of the specific red-folder event (JOLTS Job Openings in this case). Let’s say it’s normally released around 8:30 PM IST. Since my trade is formed around 1 PM IST, so I'm already far from that window — about 90% safe. To make it even safer, I choose a precise time to place my limit order, away from common USD news times. For example, red folder news releases often hits at 1:15 PM or 1:30 PM. So I like to place my limit at 1:22 PM — 5 minutes away from both sides — which keeps me clear of the news window. This gives me about 99% safety while still allowing me to take my A+ setup during tentative news events.
