The impact triggered several explosions, massive fires, and extensive structural damage across a wide area. Emergency crews from multiple agencies, including local fire, police, and federal investigators, have responded to the scene. Officials confirm that several people have been injured, though the exact number and their conditions remain unclear. Heavy black smoke can be seen billowing from the crash site for miles, prompting authorities to issue a shelter-in-place order within a five-mile radius of the airport due to concerns over air quality and potential secondary explosions.

UPS Flight 2976 crashed around 5:15 p.m. local time on Tuesday, Nov. 4, after departing from Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport in Kentucky. The McDonnell Douglas MD-11 was headed to Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu. The FAA and NTSB will investigate. The NTSB will lead the investigation and will provide all updates. Terrible accidente aéreo hoy en Venezuela

Informamos que en la tarde de hoy se presentó un accidente aéreo de una aeronave Cessna 206, matrícula HK1833, perteneciente a la empresa SAE Ambulancias. La @DIACC_COL de @AerocivilCol se encuentra al frente de la investigación.

Informamos que la aeronave HJ 428 presentó una falla en vuelo e intentó un aterrizaje de emergencia en el departamento de Antioquia, en ruta hacia el Aeropuerto Olaya Herrera de Medellín. La #DIACC de @AerocivilCol está al frente de la situación.

La @AerocivilCol reafirma su compromiso con la seguridad aérea, tras el incidente ocurrido el 21 de julio en la Torre de Control de @BOG_ELDORADO, donde personal no autorizado accedió al control del tráfico aéreo. Adelantamos las investigaciones correspondientes.
