@RobbySabo They had the easiest strength of schedule for a playoff team since 1999. They faced depleted Chargers and Texans teams and then a Broncos team in the snow with a backup QB who they cut! This must be a joke, right?
I’m surprised with the overwhelming consensus that Seattle is gonna win this Super Bowl. I’m taking the Pats, purely based on trusting Vrabel and McDaniels more. This is what I’m thinking…
—Vrabel’s plan is gonna focus on JSN. Bracketing, attention, etc., and it’s going to be heavy pass D from the jump, while pretty much daring Seattle to run the ball, and, more importantly, STICK with the rushing attack. Seattle’s rush D is solid enough, but it’s also not close to dominant. And I think this is where Vrabel bets his money: This is an offense that works based on Kubiak getting the defense to slide from rushing to passing focus (and vice-versa) on a down-to-down basis, as well as DECEPTION on balanced downs. I love Kubiak, but if I’m the DC against him, I’m doing whatever I can to get him to COMMIT to a singular mindset. He doesn’t want to do that, ever. Nobody does, but him even more so.
So if I’m Vrabel, my plan is two-fold:
—Heavy JSN attention with stubborn pass D, while understanding you can be gashed on the ground early, in between the 20s. Two-high and off-coverage man out of solo-high has to be the deal.
—STICKY in coverage to give Darnold as many tight-window throws as possible (gonna half to *trail and inside* certain receivers a lot). Bracket on or shade towards JSN with stickiness (man focus) everywhere else. JSN is the dude the plan revolves around. Period, full stop.
—Aggressive in coverage everywhere + attention on JSN = more opps to create a short field for the offense. It just has to be a smart-type of aggression on pass D, while literally relenting the run in between the 20s. ***This is only to open the game, as a lot changes after the first quarter.
—For Maye and the Pats, I think they’re gonna run the ball well enough against this Seahawks defense. And I also don’t think Macdonald will load up the front (although he should think about doing so early in the game).
—Lastly, New England will not give Seattle a special teams advantage the way the Rams and Niners did. Let’s be real: The Seahawks also didn’t have to go through any sort of “gauntlet” to get here.
The Seahawks should be favored, no doubt, but I’m stunned how many folks are picking them. It should be much more balanced.
@kurt13warner IMO, if someone is a hall of famer, they should be in as soon as they are eligible. If they don't make it in the year they become eligible, they shouldn't be allowed another chance. All this inducting people 20-30 years later nonsense shouldn't be happening. It's a pitty honor.
So much of the conversation over the last 2 days really comes down to one of 3 things:
1) Cheating Matters
2) Cheating Doesn’t Matter
3) Cheating is subjective (in other words, we individually get the right to decide what is really cheating & what level really matters)
I stand on 1… so if you stand on 2 or 3 then we will just agree to disagree!
Don’t know why this conversation is so difficult & makes ppl so angry!!
@NYJetsTFMedia This blowout loss against backups is enough to justify his firing. Come on man…There’s no backing him at this point. The only coach I’d keep is the Special Teams coach. Everyone else has to go.
I am NOT saying fire Aaron Glenn after one year
But to be a former defensive coordinator, former defensive player, & to have had a #Jets defense that's been THIS bad, literally historically bad, all season, is really really bad
@BoyGreen25@AdamSchefter@Espngreeny@ESPNNFL Look at the points differential this year. Look at no INTs in a season for the 1st time ever. With a defensive minded coach. 🤔
I’m sorry but watching this game today is a reminder that he deserves to be fired. I wanted him to be great but he’s not the one. He’s in over his head
ESPN #NFL Insider @AdamSchefter emphatically tells @Espngreeny that #Jets HC Aaron Glenn is safe ahead of Black Monday.
‘Despite the failures, despite the struggles, they’re committed to Aaron Glenn. He is going to be back in 2026.’

NAS album was a dedication to hip hop & his love for the culture. The mission was accomplished in my opinion. A 4/5 album to me & another good moment in his career. I believe in time any doubters will come around after the hype wears off. #HipHop
@NYJets_Media I love AG's energy but he's not the guy. There are teams with less talent that play a lot more competitively. We need an offensive minded coach.
And 31 years later!! @nas great times, what we put together was only a appetizer!! The album is A1., Light years!! I’ll see y’all 2026 God Willing!!! 💯
@JNRadio_Glenn They should! They should also talk to Justin about playing a wide receiver/tighten/running back type roll. He probably won’t want to do it and it’s not the right area for that kind of crap, but he could still stay in the NFL if he does.
I know the Jets won't do it, but I honestly wouldn't care if they started Brady Cook next week and he threw five picks. At least there's the potential of unearthing a gem.
@NYJetsTFMedia The one over the middle should've been an easy catch. The other two were "catchable" but terrible throws. One underthrown and the other one was thrown behind the WR. But I will say, the new WR additions were actually getting separation last night.
@ConnieScouts I agree. I was at the game last night and Fields is not good at reading defenses pre-snap or post snap. He doesn't see the field well, panics under pressure and has undeniable accuracy issues. Were there some drops, yes but most would've been super tough catches.
