Was honoured at a moving event where Canada’s Vietnamese community thanked me for my work as Immigration Minister to resettle hundreds of Vietnamese refugees who fled Communism, & had been stranded in Southeast Asia for decades. It was touching to meet many of the refugees, and see how well they have integrated into Canadian society.

Feb 26 is #PinkShirtDay in Canada - a day for Canadians to take a stand against bullying and wear pink shirts to show their support for safe and inclusive schools, workplaces and communities. 🇨🇦👚💗
Also known as Anti-Bullying Day, the initiative was started in Canada in 2007 by two teenagers from Berwick, Nova Scotia when a fellow Grade 9 student was being teased and bullied for wearing a pink shirt on the first day of school.
