John Waters on the movie he wants to be shown at his funeral:
"Ingmar Bergman movies were the most influential. They used to show at Goucher University, which was where my parents used to live.
'Brink of Life' (1958) was the first one I ever saw. Three pregnant women in a maternity ward and their misery—I love that. That is what I want to show at my funeral."
(John Waters' interview with Simon Abrams, Esquire, 2016)
P.S: On this day, 68 years ago 'Brink of Life' was released in Sweden.
