I might add that it appears that as is mostly the case the world over (with the notable recent exception of New Zealand),our leading politicians and their advisors do not in any way appear to understand the mood of the country and what is needed

The bravery of our firefighters and other services many of whom are volunteers and have been fighting the fires for months now is beyond compare, if ever medals for bravery are due, I know not a worthier cause

My heart is breaking for all those devasted by the fires 🔥 in my adopted country, the devastation is beyond comprehension and sadly it looks like worse is to come and no doubt more innocent lives lost, before control can be had.

Remember being vulnerable is a great thing to be and not something to be afraid of
