No one picked up BOORMAN AND THE DEVIL, huh? That’s one of those things I heard about during festival season and thought for sure I’d be able to rent by now. It’s a shame because I really did want to see it.

This account will continue. We are Tony's family and friends. You're used to hearing from Tony here. So are we. Like you, we are heartbroken. Tony left us unexpectedly, far too soon, on May 1st — peacefully, in his sleep. We have been reading every message, every tribute, every piece of art shared in his name. You loved him well. In memory of the incredible Tony Stella @studiotstella I've posted up the full unedited conversation I had with him back in Oct 2024 over on my Youtube channel. Tony's one and only request when we sat down was that I not show his face, so the video is audio only. He supplied the below image to me to use over the top of the video, it's as close to a self portrait as I believe he ever created ( originally for a Japanese interview some years back) . We arranged to sit down for an hour, Tony spoke for over four ( and another two hours after we stopped recording) He was a extraordinarily talented, passionate, articulate, funny, extremely knowledgeable and massively entertaining man. I am extremely grateful I got to know him a little more in the years that passed since we recorded this,we spoke pretty frequently, usually via email and text.
