Jezia (Jizya) is the extra tax imposed on non-Muslims (Dhimmis) who live under Muslim rule according to the Qur'an and Hadith. Zakat is 5% of prophet you make, it is required (wajeb). If you don't pay it, your punishment is with Allah, same as failing to pray. Jezia is penalty, it is not linked to income, Umar set the bar as one gold coin per person. If you do not pay it, the person could be killed, boys enslaved, women and girls taken as women sex slaves (Melk Alyamen). Did you spot the difference?

How religions are divisive, spread hatred towards others and how they treat women. Yes religion gives people a false hope of God who is taking care of them. But that also makes people selfish and self centered. As when they see others suffering they think it’s God’s will. When they suffer turmoil they don’t try to work hard to get out of it. They accept it as God’s will. That’s why majority theocracies are under developed third world countries.
