it took about 8 years for KH2 to get an HD remaster, which is only 1 year more than the gap between KH3 and now

[Nintendo Switch 2 System Update] Version 22.0.0 adds "Handheld Mode Boost". This will make Switch 1 games think that they are in TV mode even when in handheld. Games can run at higher resolutions in TV mode, taking better advantage of the Switch 2's 1080p screen.

@DarianBelmont I’m almost certain we are getting a Symphony of the Night remake for the 40th anniversary. Konami loves putting out remakes and Symphony is the most popular game in the series.

@Luxin_Xeno I do have some hope it can be fixed since something similar happened with Mario Party Jamboree. The Switch 2 edition only had graphical improvements for the new mode they added, not the main game that people actually liked. That ended up being fixed a month later.

ngl it'll be really funny if the current state of the S2 edition is because this isn't the final version and they just wanted to shadowdrop X again and everything gets fixed in the day 1 patch for the physical in April

@TriforceZard I don’t think that’s the best point of reference. We need another bad Switch 2 version that got fixed. Luckily that happened with Mario Party Jamboree where the regular boards didn’t get a resolution increase for some reason. It took a little over a month for that to get fixed.

@TylerMcGuirk_ As someone who does like HD2D I wouldn't want it for a Xenogears remake. That game's camera is pretty dynamic and I haven't seen an HD2D game with that level of camera control.

the more people ask for a xenogears remake or especially hd2d the more I'm ok with square not touching the game at all. Disc 2 isn't gonna become the "fully realized vision", the whole game would be compromised for the worse

I don't mind 20 characters that bad personally, but I know that's gonna hurt for some people.
Marvel has soooo many characters though that I hope they just fill it with infinite DLC quickly and we get all the favorites fast.

@Luxin_Xeno my main argument for it (spotlight) being a whole game is that if she listed it, she recorded new lines, but if it's a Switch 2 patch for XC2 then at most she did a few lines for post battle dialogue with a new blade.
If that's it, she probably wouldn't have presented it that way
