Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: I went to see Trump right after the election, and I came there with seven big slides. Slide one, slide two, slide three, slide four. "Here's what we're going to do." Not "Are you allowing us or not allowing us?" "Here's what we're going to do," I told him. And we get to the last slide, and I say, "Here's what I'm proposing to you." You have B-2s — these huge bombers. There's a site called Fordow. If we need to, we'll act against it ourselves too. But it's much more effective if you come and simply drop your heavy bombs there. He listened, and in the end he joined. I was very happy.

> Be @Cernovich > say barely controversial or enlightening thing > have individual, small account basically agree with you > flame the fuck out of them, entirely misunderstanding what they said and make people wonder if something else is up entirely But, at all times, be super ad hominem and unreasonable in agreeing and also disagreeing with him

I was doing what I thought you were doing, counting people I know who were doing it. AGAIN, Trump staffers on the whole (like @DavidSack) went back to the jobs they had before entering goverment service. There are many others, too. Your argument (to remind you, yet again) is that the Biden staffers went into jobs with VC jobs that are not mirrors by Trump staffers. Exhausting really

@TreyTaylorCEO What are the odds that you know more about hiring practices within VC and Tech and how former Trump staffers are treated (which is that they don’t exist at all to these guys) than I do? If the answer is 0, and it is, then why bicker.

The difficulty with interacting you is the extreme logical swings you take in argumentation. In agreeing with your point, I was informed I know nothing despite providing at least one data point for you to discuss. Keep ranting, my man, it’s amusing for those of us stable enough to hold the conversational line.

United States Trade Representative
Canada has maintained pervasive, non-reciprocal trade practices that have disadvantaged American farmers, manufacturers, and workers. For example: All but two Canadian provinces and territories have halted the purchase, distribution, or retailing of U.S. alcoholic beverages and have not imposed similar restrictions on other countries. From March 2025 through February 2026, Canadian imports of U.S. alcoholic beverages decreased by about 81% compared to the same period in 2024-2025.

Tom Cruise went off on Matt Lauer in that 2005 TODAY interview: psychiatry is pseudoscience, antidepressants just mask problems, no such thing as a chemical imbalance, and Ritalin/Adderall are dangerous mind-altering drugs pushed on kids. He pushed back hard on Brooke Shields’ postpartum depression treatment and called out the lack of real medical tests for these diagnoses. Whether you agree or not, that clip still sparks debate 20 years later.

@Humphrey_Jams @altcap You are right, I assumed he was calling Apple a frontier lab but the offset is that they will thrive like apple did. Grammar (and my bias!) tripped me up. Thanks for catching me out on it!

@TreyTaylorCEO @altcap Hey Trey - I think you misread. Apple thrived even with a great competitive open source mobile operating system ecosystem. Brad suggests the frontier labs have an opportunity to do the same.

I totally agree w David that America needs a thriving open source ecosystem & robust competition between open source & closed frontier labs to keep America in the lead. Reg capture is bad in all forms. The frontier labs - like Apple - will thrive even w great open source. 🇺🇸🚀
David Sacks@DavidSacks

I’m not sure whether Dean Ball is confessing to a regulatory capture strategy or simply predicting this will happen (he now says the latter). Either way, the weaponization of regulatory uncertainty as a competitive tool should be completely unacceptable. He argues there’s no need to ban Chinese open-source models — just direct agencies to issue soft-law warnings that create enough FUD so regulated enterprises back off. “It needn’t be that well justified.” Wrong. Regulatory decisions should always be well justified and grounded in facts, logic, and evidence, not the deliberate exploitation of fear and uncertainty. Implementing a surreptitious policy through manufactured doubt — rather than strong and explicit justification — corrodes the rule of law and invites future abuse against anyone. We are at a critical inflection point in AI policy. The leading closed labs, already a duopoly in terms of AI model revenue, want the government to eliminate their open source competition. They have laid their cards on the table. It is time for the rest of Silicon Valley — the vast majority that still values open competition — to do the same.

Just label your agents with fake names of real people and she'll be enthralled. "Justine is really coming along with the marketing stack for outbound! She's really young but picking things up!" or "Tootie is on top of the new sales scripts!" I find it helpful to give them backstories, too, and point out how we spend time together outside of normal working hours.

I called my mum to tell her about the 2 agents I'm building to help with sales and marketing. She was bored after 1 min, I could tell. Some people have an X account to earn money, get reach, build a brand. I post on X because people here at least pretend to care 😀 So thank you all for that 🥰

It's the BigOrg problem isn't it? Inside of big organizations the politics and constraints are such that 1% improvement is seen as material. In small orgs, 50% monthly compound is seen as inadequate. Unlimited funding for ideas also means 1. wasting a ton of time discussing how those funds get placed, and 2. total lack of focus on the end product. Had Google spun out a separate AI shop with full licenses, and severe capital constraints, Gemini would be #1-2 today.
