Vance: "When people like Kamala Harris send our sons and daughters, our young people, to fight in stupid wars, it is the young generation that carries the burden of that. We're gonna stop sending our young people to far away lands. We are not the policemen of the world."

Jordair Jett That guy rocked.

Former Manager Spotlight: Whitey Herzog Whitey Herzog was born Dorrel Norman Elvert Herzog on November 9, 1931 in New Athens, Illinois He was a professional player, manager and executive who had a significant impact on the game, particularly known for his innovative managerial style dubbed "Whiteyball." Herzog played as an outfielder in MLB from 1956 to 1963 for teams including the Washington Senators, Kansas City Athletics, Baltimore Orioles, and Detroit Tigers, though his playing career was relatively modest with a .257 batting average, 25 home runs, and 172 runs batted in over 634 games. His greater fame came as a manager, where he led teams like the Kansas City Royals, St. Louis Cardinals, Texas Rangers, and California Angels across a career spanning from 1973 to 1990. Herzog's most celebrated tenure was with the St. Louis Cardinals, whom he managed from 1980 to 1990. He guided the Cardinals to three National League pennants (1982, 1985, and 1987) and a World Series championship in 1982 against the Milwaukee Brewers. His style of baseball was termed "Whiteyball". It was a style of baseball that emphasized speed, defense, and small-ball tactics over power hitting, tailored to the large dimensions and fast artificial turf of Busch Memorial Stadium. The strategy focused on manufacturing runs through aggressive base running - especially stolen bases - bunting, hit-and-run plays, hitting the ball on the ground and opposite-field hitting - rather than relying on home runs. Herzog’s teams also prioritized strong pitching, both from starters and a deep bullpen, along with athletic, selfless defenders who could cover the expansive field. Position players like Ozzie Smith, Willie McGee, George Hendrick, Ken Oberkfell and Vince Coleman exemplified the speed and defensive prowess central to Whiteyball, and starting pitchers like Joaquin Andujar, John Tudor, Danny Cox, Bob Forsch used finesse over brute. Herzog knew that relief pitchers had taken on a new meaning so he cherished closers like Bruce Sutter and Todd Worrell to anchored the bullpen. Herzog himself described it as a pragmatic response to his roster and ballpark, saying in his book "White Rat: A Life In Baseball" that it was about neutralizing opponents’ power while maximizing his team’s strengths. Fans and analysts often recall Whiteyball as an exciting, dynamic brand of baseball, distinct from today’s home-run-centric game. It’s seen as a throwback to an era where strategy and movement trumped brute force, though Herzog noted it was unlikely to return in its pure form due to smaller modern ballparks and stronger players favoring power. Herzog's managerial record stands at 1,281 wins and 1,125 losses in the regular season, with a 26-25 postseason record. His contributions to baseball were recognized when he was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2010 by the Veterans Committee. Beyond managing, he also served as the general manager for the Cardinals, notably hiring himself as manager in 1980 and orchestrating key trades that shaped the team's success in the 1980s. He passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving behind a legacy as one of baseball's sharpest minds, known for his quick wit, distinctive nickname "The White Rat" (due to his light hair), and a philosophy that baseball should be fun - for players and fans. #STLCards

🚨 ALERT 🚨 ‼️ AMERICA IS UNDER ATTACK BY ISLAM ‼️ Today, Muslim Mamdani supporters threw homemade nail bombs at anti-Islam protestors in NYC, in an attempted assassination of non-Muslims! This all happened on video in broad daylight in NYC today. Notice in the post below, the NYPD won’t provide any details on their social media post. It’s a vague title about an “ongoing investigation”. They don’t want to type out the words: “2 Muslims arrested after trying to bomb US citizens in NYC today while screaming Allahu Akbar on video” Their Muslim boss @ZohranKMamdani doesn’t allow the NYPD to use the phrase “Islamic terrorism” because he says it’s “Islamophobic.” Meanwhile, Mamdami’s Muslim wife is openly liking posts on social media that celebrate the October 7th Islamic terror attacks, and his Muslim buddies are using homemade nail bombs to blow up people in NYC who oppose Islam. This is why it needs to be ILLEGAL for Muslims to hold office in the US. Deport all Muslims from America! Denaturalize Mamdani!

Watch as @NYPDPC and NYPD executives brief the media on an ongoing investigation. x.com/i/broadcasts/1…

On the left is Tricia McLaughlin, the person that was paid to lie to us by DHS. Next to Tricia is her husband, Benjamin Yoho, that was handed $243 Million, in no bid marketing contracts, to produce ads, featuring Kristi Noem and ICE. A quarter of a billion tax payer dollars.

Brayden Schenn to the Islanders. This is a tough one for me as Brayden does the intro to my daily show. #stlblues

Islanders and Blues are currently staying at the same hotel in San Jose.

Schenn has approved the trade to the Isles.
