God: You can ask me any question and I will answer, my child.
Me: If I wanted to write the third of an augmented triad rooted on the lowered mediant of D Major to be played by a Clarinet in A, what note would I write?

@shirky17@Angela_Watson Yeah. Again, I hear you.
I guess my only counter is that athletics/ex-curriculars are sometimes the only things getting students to school. Considering the past few years’ attendance struggles, activities are more important than ever. But I agree w/your overall point.
@tritonejones@Angela_Watson I was a coach for 30 years.
I dont agree with morning practices
"Student Athlete" = student first
why does athletics take such prominence (a question to the ether)
@shirky17@Angela_Watson Fair point. I’m just trying to think of a way to spilt athletics so they don’t all get crammed into the afternoon/evening. Some of our teams already condition our practice before the school day starts.
What are some musical terms that sound complicated to people without musical training, but aren’t actually that complex as a concept? Stuff like “modulation,” “tritone substitution,” etc.
