We are poorly- flu like chest infections. Struggling to do anything at the moment. Contemplating which of us has the energy to get wood in for the fire. No contest as the freezing cold -5 C in the garden would set off his asthma. Best I get dressed! Puzzles only happy place.💕

So we braved the local, gridlocked retail park to pick up our M and S Christmas food order & survived due to the joint miracle of finding a parking space & a circuitous route home that kept us away from the majority of the traffic. Now it’s feet up, chocs & an alchofrolic drink🎄

@TrickySmall Thanks Richard. After two nights in Bath we’ve returned a little earlier in the day than planned due to the high winds so have literally just unpacked and are now reclining with coffee to recover. Tbh we’ve been celebrating throughout the year. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Well I’m privileged today to have reached 70 years old. In a world when so many don’t get that chance I realise how lucky I am. Thanks for so many kind well wishers. We kicked off the day here in Bath at the Roman baths.

I’ve been gathering miniature copper kitchen and garden items for kitchen wreath and garland. @GardenBrocante I could have done with the polishers skills today. Hope he’s doing well.
