This is a good deal for Chelsea given Marc Cucurella was increasingly pushing to leave, the fee and he had just two years left on his contract at 27 years old. Without Europe, Jorrel Hato + Valentin Barco is enough to cover his departure but you have to question whether Chelsea's overall quality level goes down without Cucurella.
