I agree wholeheartedly with the whole thread. We all did a great job but there is no need of the high level of restrictions at this time. We can and need to reopen more and sooner.

OMG. Let's spend more $ we don't have. Kids walking to school is a good thing. My kids walked busiest residential street in CB (hospital traffic for 8 am shifts) in grades 1 & 2 til neighbourhood school closed.

@Jenn_McCreath # gov staff, schools with few students, some libraries that made sense (neighbouring towns), towns and ferries that service very few people. Big, brave changes have to happen to sustain our government. Residents have to support it and stop protesting every little cut.

"the province will save $20-million in the next 20 years by resettling the community." Only one community of 71 with ferry service. Imagine the savings uf other small towns served by ferries would relocate....

@DanGallway I have seen that kind of response before. My point is @GovNL needs to reduce spending and small towns with no economic activity but costly ferry service are obvious options. We have good revenue so no need to shut the province down; just spend more responsibly.
