LACD are busy preparing for the Making Moves Regional Platform at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. Making Moves is a national youth dance programme that brings together young dancers from across the region to create and perform new contemporary work.

Today our Year 10 GCSE Dance students attended the Inside Phoenix: Shadows with Phoenix Dance Theatre. They watched Shadows, learnt repertoire, took class and analysed choreography, themes, lighting, costume and music — bringing this GCSE set work to life. 💜 #GCSEDance

Watching these girls from backstage perform on stage with NSCD’s Youth Dance Company tonight was just magical. Very proud of the Trinity Scholarship with @NorthernSchool which creates these special moments. 💜👯

Our dancers took to the stage with a powerful Afro-fusion performance created in collaboration with @PhoenixLeeds as part of the Yorkshire Youth Dance Platform. Blending strength, rhythm and storytelling, this piece celebrated culture, connection and the joy of movement.
