For the past decade, the center of the country "received freight", largely from the coasts, as a large percentage of trucking volume were related to imports.
For the past few months, that has flipped and now the center of the country has shifted from "receiving freight" to "pumping it."
The US economy goods is flipping.
The center of the country, the industrial heartland, is shifting to a primary source of domestic freight.

Here you have it folks, the midterms dead on arrival. I no longer support this man. He isn't the same man I voted for in 2024. I don't regret my vote, but he does not have my support and you won't see me wear any of my Trump hats or shirts ever again. 🚨 HUGE NEWS: Following IMMENSE pressure from President Trump and patriots across the country, an appeals court in Colorado has THROWN OUT Tina Peters’ sentence
Per the court, the 9-year sentence VIOLATED her 1st Amendment rights.
This is a HUGE step towards freeing Tina Peters
She will now be resentenced to a much lower term — possibly even time served — which would secure her immediate release.
