@SicklyTheNinJa Origins was so fucking insane to play after not playing one for a couple years. Odyssey had better exploration but the world in origins was pretty astounding. It felt endless

From the moment you begin Assassin's Creed: Origins you're cast into its brutal world of souls-like combat, RPG loot/mechanics and gorgeous landscapes peppered with Egyptian architecture. You either love it or hate it. Being a Souls guy myself, I appreciate what it tries to do even if I find the detachment from classic AC combat initially jarring. The game is so much fun once you take the time to learn it ⚔️

This scene alone is better than most blockbusters released the same year

It really is the biggest irony that all the Marvel movies are "live action" because the characters really do work best when animated.

@MistVBN @justaguy0507 I appreciate how different Moon Knight was primarily the Egyptian mythology. But the way they played the alternate personality shit and completely skipping over him taking down the main villain had me so pissed

@Triskosity No I think the show genuinely sucks. Also Ms. Marvel is like the only good MCU show along with maybe Loki(I haven’t seen it in a while so I don’t remember).

The 35MM scan of Jurassic Park (1993) looks absolutely glorious. The grain, lighting, and practical effects texture make the whole film feel even more alive.

@Avacodo89 It's unfortunate how much Marvel cut from the movie cuz there are definitely bits where it feels like there was more to certain scenes and character arcs, I WISH we could get a full director's cut but I still love it. Most unique MCU project in a long time

@NoahPasternak I very much agree with this. BUT tbf there is the promotional material of the Earth falling apart and Homelander in space with satellites crashing down and shit and Butcher standing in a pile of rubble. But there's two big episodes to go so that very well can still occur

I feel for him because there really seems to be a huge disconnect between what the show is, and what the audience wants it to be despite never once indicating it would be the sort of thing they're asking for
