As someone who has been a combat enthusiast most of his life, the foundation of my fighting style was heavily influenced by three individuals... What I did over time was take elements from each and forgedp p my own style through experience, experimentation, and adaptation. From Fedor Emeliyanenko and Soviet combat systems, I drew composure, efficiency, balance and structure. From Tyson, I integrated the peekaboo style – head movement, explosive pressure, fast compact combinations, relentless forward momentum and calculated aggression. And from Bruce Lee, I absorbed the essence of fluid footwork, timing, rhythm, mobility, adaptability, and economy of movement. I also incorporated aspects of Bruce Lee’s technical approach to striking by understanding the principles and body mechanics behind the movement itself. A hybrid of Soviet boxing structure. Tyson’s explosive pressure and combinations. Fedor's unique blend of striking, technical abilities, and relentless combat psychology. Bruce Lee’s fluidity and freedom of motion. Because real art of combat is about absorbing what is useful, refining it through experience, and ultimately expressing yourself through movement. That’s when style stops being imitation and becomes an extension of yourself.
