@studaviesreform Lol. A Reform councillor complaining about 'protest votes' and 'divisive politics' while accidentally making the Green platform look incredibly based 😂 Basically just published a brochure for why the Greens are winning over voters who want actual change.

The result in Denton and Gorton appears to be a clear protest vote against Labour, rather than a fundamental political win for the Greens. While the Greens were the immediate beneficiaries of Labour failings, it is important to look beyond the headline. Much of their support seems to have been driven by short-term dissatisfaction rather than broad endorsement of their national policy platform. There are also legitimate concerns about the tone and direction of parts of the Green campaign. Politics in modern Britain should bring communities together, not encourage division along sectarian or identity lines. Family voting on a scale not seen before has been reported. Green Party leadership at a national level is difficult to comprehend. It is also difficult to see how their current platform would command majority support across the entire country or be deliverable within the UK’s economic and constitutional framework. Elections send messages but protest votes do not automatically translate into major wins down the line. Here is a reminder of the Greens treasure trove of policies, Drug Policy Reform -Legalisation or decriminalisation of certain drugs. Increasing use and social harm. Universal Basic Income (UBI) Introducing a guaranteed income for all citizens. Reduces work incentive and promotes a welfare state. Wealth Taxes & Higher Taxes on the Rich. Significant increases in taxes on high earners and large assets. Driving investment away. Net Zero & Rapid Decarbonisation Accelerated transition away from fossil fuels. Ending new oil and gas extraction in the UK. This will see Job losses and economic impact and energy price increase. Abolishing Private Schools Integrating private schools into the state system. An attack on parental choice. Immigration & Refugee Policy More open and humane asylum system. A free for all. Ending hostile environment policies, what ever that means. Nuclear Deterrent (Trident) Opposing renewal of the UK’s nuclear weapons system. Creating serious national security concerns. Housing Policy Rent controls. Stronger regulation of landlords. Getting rid of private landlords is the plan. 5million people rely on private rental. Electoral Reform Proportional representation for UK elections.

Hey @CarFinance247 here's an idea. If someone uses your site to browse car finance, doesn't tick the boxes that say you can call or text me and presses unsubscribe on your emails. Maybe don't keep calling and texting from new numbers as I block each new one. It's harassment.

Coinbase is down for a lot of people and showing incorrect balances. From my tests the iOS app seems fine and the issues appear to be isolated to the web interface. Give the app a try if the web is giving you problems.

@coinbase is a scam. As soon as you make some dough when the market jumps they experience 'technical difficulties' to stop you cashing out. My account has been showing zero balance all evening.
