I would reccomend recording yourself not being able to exit the room, knocking on the door, and showing how nobody responds for multiple minutes. However idk how much battery u have left

@EXCELSIORSPEAKS @imESAM I'd argue a big chunk of the cast can pressure Steve when planking. Yeah, Fox and Ryu are cooked but many characters have at least 1 move that doesn't make it free. Samus bomb, Luigi Zair, Seph dair, etc.
I'd say it's closer to 40%, strong but idk if worth a universal ban

@TrollaxTeeHee @imESAM The problem isn't necessarily that it's super potent but it's the fact that 99% of the cast legit have 0 way to deal with it. You're at the mercy of the Steve player the entire time, and as a community we ban that universally

I’ve genuinely always thought that taking the stock in a situation like this is totally valid if the opponent is playing Steve/sonic/snake/gnw/rob/etc

Banning Steve, even if it was at most majors, wouldn't magically bring back those players. Steve is a symptom of an overall bigger issue with the game, but I wont pretend his ban won't help slightly

Still doing all this when Nintendo has said they won't allow character bans in their tournaments (which will still apply for Smash 6) is so weird.
Also pretending that any character has "ruined" Ult is such an exaggeration, no wonder yall couldn't get people to agree on the ban
