the thing that makes Mazzula a bad playoff coach is he surrenders the margin of making simple adjustments in favor of what he believes is the long-term margin of the system he runs. Issue is when he runs into great playoff coach w/ exceptional defenders they can bleed his edge

@Tron731 Hadn’t noticed the breaks. Management wanted to add music. Always thought it made sense to lean into that a little — it is a rock station — but I’ve heard the talent doesn’t like it.

@GlobeChadFinn is it me or are there a ton of breaks on the Rich Shertenlieb show? Also - do you have insights as to why they always play a full song coming back from break? I feel like this will hamper any chances they have good ratings as you barely hear them talk

@JonesOnTheNBA He lost his way for the past couple seasons. Not sure if it was the contract weighing him down or the fallout from the finals run, but he prior to the last 2-3 seasons he was the guy to get them out of a rut. Seems like he's back as a strong leader for the team
