@mboyle1 Dude. Come on. If you honestly believe the poll is legit then you need to learn about Idaho.

@marceelias You think he's scared of you? Try it. SCOFL will reject you like they did for the redistricting session. Your only hope is federal court which will laugh you out once it gets to SCOTUS.

@JeffREllington Very good Jeff. I expect a second attempt on redistricting when the opponents are removed.

Coming from you he should take that as a compliment. I could write a whole article about how much you are hated. Not just by Republicans but fellow voting rights lawyers despise you. I read what Rick Hasen has said about you and he's right about you.
Marc E. Elias@marceelias

I decided, for a change, to write about a point of bipartisan agreement. At a time when Congress is deeply divided, there is one thing Democrats and Republicans agree on: Ted Cruz just might be the most despised person in the United States Senate. democracydocket.com/opinion/the-mo…

🚨EXCLUSIVE: Why Is TPUSA Sending Me LEGAL "Cease and Desist" Letters— They Are Back To Trying To Threaten Lawfare To SILENCE Jounalist ⚖️🚫 They can’t answer the questions, so they’ve sent the lawyers. I just received a formal Cease and Desist from SouthBank Legal on behalf of Erika Kirk and TPUSA, demanding I delete my posts and apologize for "defamation." My response is simple: I am not backing down. The Facts: The Retraction: Regarding the DOJ recording—I have already issued a public correction and apology. At the time of posting, I fully believed the information to be accurate. There was ZERO malice, and under the Actual Malice Standard (New York Times Co. v. Sullivan), a journalist is protected if they believe the info was true at the time and correct the record once the error is found. Protected Opinion: Every other post they take issue with is my protected opinion and editorial theory. In America, you cannot sue someone for having an opinion you don't like. The Preservation Trap: Their own letter demands I "preserve all evidence" to prevent the "spoliation of evidence." I CANNOT delete my posts even if I wanted to—they are now part of the official legal record. The Gift of Discovery: If TPUSA wants to take me to court, bring it. I welcome the Discovery process. It will finally give me the legal power to subpoena the documents and answers Erika Kirk has been hiding from the public. To Erika and TPUSA: Thank you for the direct line of communication. I will be using the contact info provided by your counsel to ask the "legitimate questions" you claim you want to answer. The truth doesn't need a lawyer. Only lies do. 🗣️🇺🇸

@NMalliotakis You beat Marc Elias Nicole. I am proud you sent that smug faced man packing with his tail between his legs. Had you not intervened he would have succeeded in his wicked plan.

A total and complete victory for Staten Island & Southern Brooklyn: For the third time in a row (2022, 2024 and now 2026) we successfully stopped Democrats’ attempts to unconstitutionally gerrymander our district.
Punchbowl News@PunchbowlNews

Democrats’ legal challenge to New York’s congressional map is over. All parties involved agreed to voluntarily dismiss a lawsuit Dems had filed asking the courts to redraw a Staten Island-based district held by Rep. Nicole Malliotakis. punchbowl.news/article/house/…

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.

@chriswithans Actually the lower court found that the districts were more compact than the previous one.

OH NOW they want compact districts! Make up your minds, libs. Do you want Jackson Pollock to draw your maps like in Illinois and Crustaceans on Parade in Virginia or do you want your cities preserved like Winterfell in Missouri and Utah? Make up your minds.

#UPDATE: Plaintiffs have submitted a notice of appeal to the Missouri Supreme Court in Healey v. Missouri. The lawsuit argues that Missouri's new congressional map violates voters' rights to compact congressional districts.

I mean the case is simply saying that if the map is suspended if the referendum passes. I won’t say if it’s the strongest because I try to not predict courts unless I hear the questions of the judge. The referendum can still be rejected for a multitude of reasons including federal ones.

@JohnRichar8156 @RedistrictNet Ok so it hasn’t even gotten to that level yet. Last thing I could find is that they’re trying to find out who is funding the litigation.

@RedistrictNet Why do people just not give up already? They lost pretty badly in the lower court to the point their own witnesses couldn’t even hold up their arguments.

@RedistrictNet They’re better off waiting for the ruling on the referendum pausing the map potentially (If they rule on it that is) Like it or not, there’s nothing in MO law preventing mid cycle redistricting

@baseballot I mean that was going to be true regardless since SCOTUS stayed the order.
