Georgia’s transformation into the next Virginia is happening at lightning speed. The state is trending leftward at an unprecedented pace. Reminder: in 2024, Georgia voted less than a point to the right of the nation. Not long ago, it was 4-5 points to the right.

Politico: "At one point, lawyers for the state of Florida also tried to argue that even if the DeSantis administration drew the map for partisan gain, it doesn’t mean the Legislature intended to help Republicans when they voted for it."
"That drew a bit of skepticism from Judge Hawkes, who suggested that legislators were following the lead of the DeSantis administration."
Circuit Judge Joshua Hawkes was appointed to the bench by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

The Libertarian candidate polled for Ohio's 9th congressional district lost the Libertarian primary to Matthew Althaus. Gedert seemed like the more liberal option yet was included in the poll despite losing.

@JohnRichar8156 @PollTracker2024 I never said anything about Cali. I was talking about these voting rights groups perhaps unintentionally may kill the fair districts amendment by going to an overwhelmingly DeSantis State Supreme Court.

Only difference is allowing citizens to vote on a constitutional amendment is not illegal under state law in CA (unlike partisan gerrymandering in FL) so even if you argue that SCOCA is partisan, CA Reps case was very weak

They know it’s illegal but the FL SC will likely rule for them anyway, making the amendment meaningless
Maybe they’ll prove me wrong (And I wouldn’t be unhappy about that)…..but I doubt it
