Over the next few months, the Iowa State Patrol will deploy its Mobile Breath Alcohol Testing (MBAT) truck.
Troopers recently had thorough training sessions to familiarize themselves with the vehicle's life-saving capabilities, aimed at keeping impaired drivers off the road.

#buckleup In an effort to change driver behavior and INCREASE seatbelt usage the @iowastatepatrol will be working our monthly seatbelt project in and around Fremont County! Save the $-BUCKLE UP and Save a life- BUCKLE UP! There are many ways to speed $128 besides a seatbelt fine!

Busy day and half for @iowastatepatrol on @iowadot roads across the State of Iowa! Good reason there was a Blizzard Warning across most of the state! Not often that I-80 and I-35 get shut down! Keep winter driving brain in order, never know when mother nature could strike again!

A glimpse of @iowastatepatrol Trooper Moore on Interstate 80 in western Iowa last night! There is a reason the @NWSOmaha @NWSDesMoines and first responders warn in advance of these blizzard conditions and to STAY HOME. First responders had to rescue many and take to shelters!
