I'm not justifying the deaths, but it has been discovered many times by many people.
I want you to think a moment though.
Forget about monetary world economic reasons, and religious political ideologies. Think about the current 'woke' and 'demon ridden' populations world wide.
What would they do if they found out they could create something that powerful, in their own home with ordinary everyday hardware? How would they weaponize it?
Not a pretty sight. The elderly, women & children are always the first victims.
Twenty or more years ago, it would have been very useful to have had this tech, and might have even changed the current world stage. But at the moment its a real danger.

@YellowRoseTx51 It's very dangerous. Although we're in our bubbles, I still feel the need to be alert when our realities overlap while running errands and etc. I assume being alert on the road is how we consciously reject these entities and stay in our side of the 'movie'.

@ScarredForLife2 God, I loath Soviet era films. Its always about capturing the soul sucking culture, without a shred of humanity to redeem it.

@ultra_arcane @drunkplato That is a cool project. With some tweaking, the aesthetic can better match the photos. Going to try it out.

@zachklein I would delete this tweet, California government has such a vendetta with rogue citizens making improvements.

The city said it would take three years to install a speed bump. So I bought my own on the Internet for $98.

@adriankuleszo AI is great for flushing ideas out. Not so much for producing final products.

Design isn’t going anywhere.
Ignore the AI thread bois screaming RIP designers or RIP Figma every time a new tool or feature drops.
We closed $80k worth of projects just last week, and we’ve never been this busy.
Serious businesses know good design is what sets them apart, because mediocrity is everywhere.
AI is great for quick prototyping and ideation, but it’s not a 0 to 1 solution to complex problems.
If anything, it makes real design skills even more valuable.

@AdhamDannaway I don’t think any of those specialties are dead. Consolidating is due to budget cuts.

Is the era of the specialist designer over? 🤔
I’ve always admired designers who relentlessly focus on one craft and master it. On the other hand, "full-stack" designers who are competent across multiple disciplines, can be super powerful too.
Today, it feels like companies are increasingly looking for designers who can wear multiple hats and own the entire design process including UX, visual design, coding, motion design, and even business and marketing. Advances in design tools and the availability of online courses are also making it easier to become a jack of all trades.
So, should you be a specialist or a generalist? I think what matters most is finding the things you truly enjoy doing. And the best way to discover that is by exploring different areas, learning lots of things, and seeing what sticks.
Here are a few top courses to get you started:
✅ Measure & Communicate Product Design Impact with @101babich
I’ve enjoyed reading many of Nick’s articles on UX Planet over the years and I’m glad to see him bring his comprehensive and structured approach to help designers quantify and prove the value of their work.

✅ Level Up with Figma with @joeyabanks
You think you know how to use a tool until you see a master using it. Joey unlocks the hidden Figma tricks and features you never knew you never knew.

✅ Master UX Design for AI with Rupa Chaturvedi
The tech behind AI is growing rapidly, but what about the UX of AI tools? In Rupa’s course, you’ll learn to fill the gap by working on a portfolio-worthy AI design project.

What do you think? Are we shifting towards "full-stack" designers, or will specialists always have their place in the industry? 🤔
