@MackayIM As well as the seasonal pattern being wrong for flu the weekly numbers don't look right for the 3000 stated, 26 weeks by average of around 200 per week is much more than 3000.

@MackayIM The thing is you don't need to understand anything about the science behind PCR to be confident they worked very well for Covid in Australia - hundreds of thousands of negative tests in a row apart from clusters of positives from close contacts of others who tested positive.

Bad Stats is absolutely on the money with this. Lots of examples from long before covid that Bret was a conspiratorial narcissist. One bonus example: Bret created a university course on the necessary skills to survive in nature after an apocalypse- basically a prepper course.
