@GmorganJr @catturd2 I agree but there is a slippery slope to this. If disclose_tv wasn't the one who cropped it but obtained it from the source that did cropped it. The burden to figure out attribution is untenable.

@heileivo @dash_eats You are a python programmer, you should know more than the rest how AI works and why it can't be conscious or have a soul.

Soul is not a scientifically provable concept. In the past it was a common understanding that only humans have souls. However, soul is just a religional idea, and whether one has a soul or not is up to ones opinion. However, there is no reason to believe that animals are not conscious. Unfortunately consciousness as phenomenon is notoriously difficult, and it might be unwise to be absolutely certain about unconsciousness of AI systems.

@TroyBaumann No, it’s just called knowing basic history. Vaccines have never been 100% sterilizing, and batch tracking has existed forever for recalls and safety monitoring. That’s not a conspiracy, it’s manufacturing.

@TroyBaumann Vaccines have always evolved with new science. Batch numbers weren’t evidence of an “experiment” they’ve been standard for decades for safety tracking and quality control. Calling billions of vaccinated people “duped” ignores a huge amount of real-world evidence.

@TAJ2558 @Timcast Its not how I think vaccines should work, its how everyone thought vaccines should work from the 1800s up until 2021. I know its hard to accept you were duped into taking part in a mass experiment but you were. Thats why there were batch numbers being recorded.

I dont care what you think how something should work. The results are in, and I am tired of debating the same old shit. Stats, studies, research has made it clear. We are much better off as a society with what the vax did, no matter if it was supposed to do it a certain way or not.

@TAJ2558 @Timcast Thats not what vaccines are supposed to do. They are to grant immunity to the recipient not reduce symptoms. When everyone realized the vax companies lied they shifted the goalposts to this and then changed the CDC definition for vaccine

@Timcast How many lives did "they" save? Hospitals became normal again. Deadly infections from covid diminished and disappeared. You anti-vax nuts kept the ERs full, preventing my dear old grandmother from getting the care she needed. So STFU about the vax.

During the 2016 Libertarian Party Presidential Primary debates, candidates were asked by moderators whether, under a radically free-market system, it should be legal to sell heroin to children. Austin Petersen said no and was booed.

That hyperbole is unprofessional and counterproductive and reflects a lack of discipline necessary for anyone involved in politics and the great impact that politics has on everyone. Its irresponsible.

@bennyjohnson How has the administration been meaningfully different than Bush, Cheney, etc. ? Trumps abandoned any fiscally conservative or non intervention policies, which were the reason we didnt like those necons to being with

The Left’s attacks on NY Giants QB @JaxsonDart have completely backfired as his jersey has become a “MOST POPULAR” item on the official NFL shop. The Left has lost their ability to cancel anyone they don’t like. I stand with Jaxson. He did nothing wrong.

@KyleSeraphin People are turning Charlie into an infallible idol. He was a political operative with the goal of bringing as many people into the GOP as possible. This necessitates some level of lying or covering for the actions of Trump to hold the alliance together.

@Jonathan_Blow While I tend to agree with your position here generally, I dont think linking "the economy" and "consumer sentiment" with it is valid. You have to use an individual company's efficiency metrics imo

If LLMs really made workers more productive in a general way, as is claimed, and this had been going on for a couple of years, as is claimed, wouldn’t we expect to see a boost to the economy and an uptick in consumer sentiment, rather than like, historic lows?

@paleochristcon The shadow under the line in question changes as his neck moves without the line (you say is a shadow) doesnt lower. The right collar is under his skin in a straight straight line that doesnt look natural and the neck itself looks loose not conformed to his chin or jaw line

The voters in Kentucky didn't change, Thomas Massie did. When you do a 180 on the movement, the base is going to do a 180 on you. Why on earth would a conservative district keep a Republican who acts as a secondary wall of obstruction? The people voted for Trump's agenda.
