Our friends, the Philadelphia @Phillies, invited members of Washington Crossing Historic Park’s Fifes & Drums to take part in @MLB Opening Day at Citizens Bank Park and we made the most of every minute ⚾️ You couldn't have asked for better weather, we had so much fun interacting with fans throughout the park sharing music, history, and patriotic spirit in Ashburn Alley 🇺🇸 On the field, the Phillie Phanatic conducted a performance with our fife and drum corps at home plate in front of a jam packed stadium of 44,00 people 🥁 In the 5th inning after a home run, fans got to see our 2025 holiday card, “The Phanatic’s Great Christmas Tree Adventure,” on the big screen 🍿 To top it all off, in the 7th inning the 5th Pennsylvania Regiment had a celebratory victory dance 👏  It was a perfect day honoring American tradition, baseball, and history with a hometown WIN ❤️🤍💙 We’re so excited to keep building momentum going as we march toward America’s Semiquincentennial and the 250th anniversary of Washington’s Crossing 🛶 #CitizensBankPark #OpeningDay #Phillies #WashingtonCrossingHistoricPark
