If you invest ₦1 million annually at a 20% compounded annual return and increase your yearly contribution by 50% every year, you would grow your portfolio to over ₦100 million in about 9 years. This is enough to qualify as a High-Net-Worth Individual (HNI) in 🇳🇬

If you attend many of these big churches in Lagos, be very careful what you consume from the pulpit this period, because I genuinely think a memo has been sent to many of them. The patterns are becoming too loud to ignore. Most of the topics, sermons, statements, and even program themes I’ve been seeing from some of these big churches are psychologically constructed to make Nigerians emotionally withdraw from voting and accepting change as impossible. Some weeks ago, it was Pastor Adeboye telling people that the next president has already been chosen by God. Now it is Matthew Ashimolowo saying Peter Obi is the best candidate, but he won’t win. Then another popular Lagos church is running with a program theme talking about “Jesus being the best political cover.” And there are many more subtle messages like that flying around. This is becoming too coordinated to be random. The timing. The location. The pastors involved. The exact emotional direction of the messaging. This is psychological manipulation, and many Nigerians are not catching it. Because APC knows something very important. They know they no longer have anything tangible to sell Nigerians again. Fuel is expensive. Food is expensive. Electricity is expensive. School fees are expensive. Businesses are collapsing. The naira has been battered. People are suffering visibly. So what do you do when performance can no longer convince the people? You start targeting their psychology. You start targeting hope. You start targeting morale. You start making people feel like resistance is pointless. That is the new strategy. And religion is one of the easiest vehicles to use because many Nigerians trust pastors more than they trust facts. Notice the pattern carefully. These pastors will subtly admit that Peter Obi or the Obi/Kwankwaso movement represents competence or better leadership, but immediately after saying that, they will emotionally conclude with: “But he cannot win.” “God has already chosen.” “Jesus is the answer.” “Focus on heaven.” Do you people not see the psychological game being played there? It is not direct support for APC. It is emotional demobilization. It is convincing Nigerians not to bother participating. It is making people subconsciously feel their votes do not matter. Because once people lose hope psychologically, the battle is already halfway won politically. And sadly, many of these pastors know exactly what they are doing because they understand how emotionally dependent many Nigerians are on religious authority. They know many church members will never question anything coming from the altar. That is why you must use your brain this period. God is supreme. Jesus is King. Nobody is arguing that. But God has also given human beings free will. The same Bible is full of people making choices and living with the consequences of those choices. Nigeria today is the result of choices. Bad leadership is the result of choices. Corruption is the result of choices. Silence is the result of choices. And better leadership will also come from choices. God will not come down from heaven to thumbprint ballot papers. Nigerians will. So when someone tells you “the next president has already been chosen,” ask yourself: Why then are politicians campaigning? Why are billions being spent on elections? Why are parties fighting desperately for power? Why are propaganda machines working overtime? Why are pastors suddenly sounding like political analysts? Because they know votes matter. And they know people matter. That is why APC and its supporters are now focusing heavily on psychological warfare. They know they cannot easily defend the suffering Nigerians are facing. So the next best thing is to make Nigerians mentally surrender before 2027 even arrives. That is why you must stay alert. Pray, yes. Trust God, yes. But also think critically. Because faith without wisdom is how manipulators control people.

The emptiness of life will always remind us that we chase nothing but vanity. This was my Senator representing Delta North constituency as at 2022. How do I explain to the world that this man contested the 2023 elections as a healthy and vibrant man? Before the 2023 elections, Peter Nwaoboshi had built a solid career for himself across the fields of politics and law. He was powerful, influential and deeply rooted in Delta politics. But in 2022, immediately he declared interest to return to the Senate, his case with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, where he was accused of diverting loan money borrowed from Nigerian Export-Import Bank, was suddenly reopened. He had earlier secured a judgement from a Federal High Court that discharged and acquitted him. But his ambition did not go down well with the powers that be. His case was hurriedly reopened and pursued by the EFCC, who had earlier appealed the judgement that discharged him. Then, just like magic, Nwaoboshi was convicted and sentenced to seven years imprisonment by the Court of Appeal. Nwaoboshi became the first Senator to be in prison while on 2023 election ballot. Imagine the weight of that reality. A man who once commanded political strength and influence was suddenly behind bars while the battle for his political future continued outside prison walls. Although the Supreme Court later intervened and set aside the judgement of the Court of Appeal, the damage had already been done. By then, he had lost the election to Ned Nwoko because he was in prison during the election period. Soon after, Nwaoboshi quietly retired into private life. A man who once moved with prestige, influence and honour suddenly disappeared from the centre of power after suffering humiliation, political defeat and loss of dignity. Then, while living that solitary life, de@th came. Today, a man who was once among the most relevant political figures in Delta State before the 2023 election will not witness the 2027 elections. His name is gradually fading from public discussions, while many of his followers have become politically displaced, moving from one camp to another in search of refuge and survival. Anytime I remember Nwaoboshi’s story, it reminds me that whether you are high or low, powerful or ordinary, the end will surely come when you least expect it. Life has a way of humbling every throne, silencing every voice and reminding mankind that power, influence and political glory are only temporary visitors. I am Ekene Aninze Esq.

WAEC Seized My English Result Twice – Patrick Obahiagbon Honourable Patrick Obahiagbon on an interview with Punch Newspaper.. Punch - Did you write exams in school in these big words? Honorable- I used such words very-very freely in my exams both at the secondary school and in my university and little wonder I had the misfortune of my English results being seized intermittently in my O’ Levels. WAEC released my results for the other subjects and withheld my English result. This happened for about three years. Twice, I passed the University Matriculation Examination but I could not proceed to the University because of my English results that were not released. At the end of the day, it was released after the third attempt. Punch - Why do you always use ‘big grammar’? Honourable- I am not really in consensus ad idem with those who opine that my idiolect is advertently obfuscative. No no no, it’s just that I am in my elements when the colloquy has to do with the pax nigeriana of our dreams and one necessarily needs to fulminate against the alcibiadian modus vivendi of our prebendal political class. Punch - How do you talk to your wife, children and even your friends? Honourable- I relate with my family and friends very warmly and in an atmosphere of camaraderie, stripped of my confutational habiliment and gladiatorial homilies. I am a very peaceful, calm, level-headed and celestially attuned soul personality. Punch - Is this the way you proposed to your wife, speaking high tech grammar? Honourable - Of course, the business of the day when I interfaced with my wife on matters of the heart had to be in plain Caeser’s language and you can decipher why that had to be so. The matter in view did not permit itself of sphinxian conundrum. Punch - Do you know that many people don’t take you too seriously when you talk because they think you are not communicating? Honourable - Why will I be perturbed from ensconcing myself in the palatable arms of Morpheus because people have deprived themselves of the cultivation of the regime of the mental magnitude? I read all the farrago of baloneys and vacuous bunkum from pepper soup objurgators. The spirit of animadversion remains their fundamental human right. It also remains an indubitable fact that I get millions and millions of requests daily from people all over the world requesting for my verbal mentorship which positive cosmopolitan reactions have assisted my equipoise and righteous sense of pachydermatous garb. I cannot put my nose to the grindstone daily and expect to be understood by those luxuriating in a modus vivendi, verging on pepper souping, goat heading, suyaing, big stouting and isiewulising. Has a philosophical wag not once pontificated that things of the spirit are spiritually discerned and that it takes the deep to call the deep? We will speak more on this matter of critiques and chichi dodo another day. Punch - Why do you pull your trousers up beyond the waist? Honourable - Hahahaha….That trousers style is called Yohji Yamamoto. It was my own audacious statement to remonstrate against the pervasive tendency of Nigerians especially our youths that took to the practice of putting on trousers exposing their lower anatomical contours and I will do it over and over again. Culled from Saturday Punch

“Rental properties don’t make profit…” 🤔 Every time I hear this statement, I keep asking: Are we really calculating investment… or just repeating what people say online? When we posted the estimate for this project, many people laughed at the ROI 😂 Some even said: “Hostel business no dey pay again.” Meanwhile👇 📍56 units of self-contained hostel apartments around IMT, Enugu Nigeria 🇳🇬 Current rent per unit: 💰 ₦600,000 yearly Now do the math with me: ₦600,000 × 56 units = ₦33.6 MILLION yearly. So tell me… How exactly is that “no profit”? 👀 In less than 10 years: ✅ Construction cost recovered ✅ Maintenance covered ✅ Property still standing ✅ Land value appreciated ✅ Cashflow still entering yearly The truth is: Most people build houses. Very few people build INVESTMENTS. 🏗️📈 A bad location will humble you. A poor design will drain you. Bad management will destroy cashflow. But when: ✔️ the design makes sense ✔️ the numbers are right ✔️ the location is strategic ✔️ the management is solid Real estate becomes a money machine. People see buildings. Investors see systems that print income for decades. What’s your opinion? Is rental property still profitable in Nigeria or people are just building blind. © ES Engineering and property management.

BE PROBABLY INFORMED ON THE NDC MATTER Let me educate ignorant Nigerians who have been castigating me on the NDC matter. Please read this with an opened mind. No political association can be registered as a political party without filling INEC’s Form EC15A, which is INEC’s Party Registration Form. This form is online and an association pays a mandatory N2m Administrative Fee to be issued with INEC’s Access Code with which the association will open the portal and make its application. In the application it will upload the party name, acronym, logo, constitution, manifesto, names, addresses, ID cards, passport photographs, Indigene letters, etc. of its national executive members, address of national office headquarters, INEC’s payment receipt, bank account details, a sworn affidavit of truth, etc. It is these documents that INEC will examine to see whether they comply with the requirements of the constitution, Electoral Act and its Guidelines. And until these documents are uploaded on INEC portal and INEC examines them and finds them to have 100% complied, it cannot register the association as a political party, because that’s the requirement of the law. But in the case of NDC, it DID NOT pay the N2m mandatory Administrative Fee, it did not collect the Access Code, therefore it did not FILL the Form EC15A and it did not upload anything - ANYTHING AT ALL AS REQUIRED BY LAW. So what documents did they put before the Lokoja FHC for court to say they fulfilled ALL the requirements of the constitution, the law and the guidelines? I have obtained the Certified True Copy of all documents and processes NDC placed before the court, including the judgment, and they naturally exhibited not one of these fundamental documents. NOT ONE! And it couldn’t because it did not fill Form EC15A and upload them into INEC’s Registration Portal! The court was thoroughly misled to have made pronouncement without any due regard to these documents, making it a highly pervasive judgement. It’s like someone contesting a presidential or governorship primaries and losing and without filling INEC’s nomination Form EC13A or EC13B respectively and his party submitting to INEC. It means he was not on the ballot. But he goes to the tribunal and files whatever papers he deems fit and prays the tribunal to declare him winner as president-elect or governor-elect and the tribunal gives him a favourable judgement without regard to the facts, ordering INEC to issue him with certificate of return. And INEC said it accepts this court order and will not appeal, and went ahead and issued him the certificate of return. I ask all honest and rational citizens, should Nigerians accept this scenario? NOW THIS IS EXACTLY THE CASE OF THE NDC! But because Peter Obi and Kwankwaso and others have joined the NDC we are told that Nigerians must accept NDC! If ALL NIGERIANS will accept this pervasion I WILL NOT! Period!! …. Dr. Umar Ardo
