My friend Julie died last night after a long battle with several serious health conditions. We were friends since high school. She was one of the few people in my life who, even though she was isolated because of her health, she would check on me regularly because she knew I was isolated too, caregiving for my son. I appreciated her so much, and I told her so. She was an example of what true friendship is. Love never ends, friend

I have surgery on Wednesday. I was diagnosed last week with skin cancer on my face. I didn't feel up to telling anyone until now. They won't know what kind til after. With my stage three kidney cancer history I am scared.
