Crysencio Summerville is out of the blue. ~£50m for a player with 15 G/A in 84 PL apps feels overpay levels though & it doesn't scream value for money, but the LW market is not exactly brimming with talent.
The Mateus Fernandes deal running through Jorge Mendes makes sense, considering the chaos at West Ham & not knowing who to even negotiate with, but an incoming bid confirmed & personal terms no issue.
From my point of view, I'd much prefer to sign Mateus Fernandes than wrap Summerville into a double deal.

Ignoring Tzolis when we’ve literally scouted him multiple times is a massive miss.
Club Brugge form this year has been completely insane and letting Arsenal secure him for just £30m is a joke lmao.
He has way more devastating ball-striking and direct box threat than summerville, it’s a total bargain we should be all over.

I don't know whether United are serious about Christos Tzolis but here is what I think about him. He is ready for the step up although a move to a mid-table club like Aston Villa or Crystal Palace would make perfect sense than joining United. But looking at the quality he possesses plus experience in the champions league, as a back up to Cunha he would provide Invaluable depth. He’s evolved massively since his Norwich days. His output this season is ridiculous—16 goals and 19 assists. Ignore the 'league tax' skeptics those numbers are elite. Profile wise He’s not a pure 1v1 touchline winger who isolates defenders but he is not a wingfielder either, he’s an inverted forward who uses evasive dribbling and smart angles to cut inside onto his lethal right foot. His vision is top-tier, and his defensive work rate and pressing have improved out of all recognition. To cut it in the Premier League, he still needs to build up his physicality for tight duels, avoid drifting out of games, and add some unpredictability so fullbacks can't just park on his right foot. Bottom line at £30m, he’s an absolute steal for any PL or Bundesliga side wanting low-risk, high-return depth.

Personally, I don't think it would be wise to spend £50m on Summerville unless he has a ridiculous World Cup campaign and even then I would still pay £35/40m max.
We have three options either stick with Rashy, bring that Summerville price down to £25m/£30m, or prioritize Hall and keep Dorgu at LW for one season.

summerville needs a massive world cup campaign to fully back up that £50m price tag but his domestic form this year has been top tier. landing both him and mateus fernandes for a combined £95/100m would be good business imo.

@TrulyManUtd @RisingGemsz No, not really. Carrick's requirements from his strikers remain pretty much the same regardless of who starts. Imo, what will affect how the midfield is set up will be the FBs.

If we use that mentality while other teams like Liverpool have gotten proper managers, trust me we won't make top 4

I'm not comparing, but I can assure you that if you play a 3 man midfield, leaving Baleba alone as the Deep lying playmaker would be a bad idea... except he'd be learning on the job. RISKY
