Of course the 60% that didn’t vote for Lai is incandescent with rage. That’s predictable and nothing noteworthy in the face of rank betrayal and double-dealing. Amongst the greens they are split between the Copers and the Worriers. Copers are still like “Trump secretly Taiwan very good friend youllllllll see” Worriers are quiet. DPP strategy seems to be trying to Grey Rock through it. Very bland low energy on the issue. Instead trying to crank the temp on the China Bad stuff.

@yashalevine basically what they are doing is injecting a certain amount of purified methane from biogas, then claiming the credits in California after withdrawing an equivalent amount of natural gas to take advantage of CA subsidies. Still pretty absurd though.

@poppy_haze Methane is pretty inert so as long as you have sufficient O2 and no ignition sources I guess any amount is fine?

how much methane is safe to breathe if the atmosphere is sufficiently oxygenated? like 20-25%?
