Am I wrong? This Michigan-Texas game has zero atmosphere, lots of empty seats. 15 years ago, Michigan-Texas meet in a bowl game, stadium is packed and the game feels enormous. This feels like a spring game, no?

If anyone close to Kirk could tell him that nobody has an issue with questions being asked. The issue is that a huge public platform is not the place to deconstruct and then try to rebuild. Go sit in a pastors office and hash these things out before going on camera.

Every time I see a mom driving one of those 90k Tahoe’s or fancy SUV’s, I’m like really jealous and say wow it must be nice to be rich, but then I remember she probably has a huge payment on it and most people are in crippling amounts of debt, and I feel better 🤷🏼‍♀️

John Calipari is right on this — allow one player transfer, after that, you have to sit out a year to transfer. We have guys playing for four different teams in four years. It’s beyond ridiculous and bad for the sport:

@robbystarbuck @EllieGAnders Our son & wife are in that boat. Our home has increased in value, they are unable to afford a home due to overinflated prices. (I am not complaining as we are not planning on selling so it doesn't matter) they are in a 900 sq ft condo & just had a baby. They need a home.

This cannot and will not continue. Something has to give and it’s going to be home values. The top is in. Sellers now also outnumber buyers by historic margins. I don’t see a way home prices don’t begin to fall off a cliff (and they should).

@EllieGAnders Yeah our home has increased in value so much over the last 7 years it’s almost unbelievable. I’m not complaining about that for us since we own it but I see friends struggling to even afford a starter home. The prices are out of control.

Too many people in Washington have forgotten something simple… Government exists to protect our God-given rights, not run our lives. Last night at the @HarrisCountyRP Reception with @BasedMikeLee and @chiproytx, that message came through in every conversation we had. The Senator spoke about jurisdiction and the limits of federal power. He was right on target. We also talked with folks about a double standard we see far too often… Some Republicans want small government when there is a Democrat in the White House, then want to grow that same government the second a Republican takes over. That is not principle. That is not leadership. We cannot fight for limited government only when it is convenient. Here is where I stand… I believe in the rule of law. Congress has no business writing new laws when it refuses to follow the ones already in place. I will fight for equal justice and for a government that obeys the Constitution just like it expects the people to. I believe government should be limited. The bigger Washington gets, the smaller the people become. I will work to cut waste, shrink the bureaucracy, and return power to states, communities, and families. I believe in accountability. Public service is supposed to be a duty, not a career. I support term limits, a ban on congressional stock trading, and real transparency for the taxpayers who fund this massive machine. Shoutout to Tina Bartley and a thank you to John Lodge for hosting us at his VIP table. And thank you to everyone who came ready to have honest conversations about the direction of this country. The fight for limited government and personal liberty is not theoretical. It starts here in Texas, and I am all in.
