Bigger office.
Livestream studio.
MTN validator. (🧐)
130 @autonomous_labs desks and @secretlabchairs in a 24/7 workspace powered by 20GB wifi and pure @solana fuel.
50 days after @SolanaConf, the world-class startup experience is back for its 5th year:
----
@mtndao -- the renowned startup summit that gathers @solana’s top builders from around the world — is hosting its 9th iteration. mtndao v9 runs from February 1-28, 2026 in downtown Salt Lake City.
Like always, mtndao is invite-only. Last year’s February mtndao was heavily over capacity, so this year we’re implementing a smarter system to manage day-to-day access. (application below)
The mtndao you know
@mtndao is Solana’s birthplace for globally renowned startups and talent. While Solana focused, everybody comes to the MTN:
· Founders
· Developers
· Marketing
· BD
· Investors
We’re proud of the infrastructure we provide. Expect:
• A spacious, beautiful, 24/7 workspace
• 130 @autonomous_labs desks, @secretlabchairs, and 4k 32” monitors at every desk.
• 20GB entreprise-grade wifi with 7 independent electricity circuits to handle upwards of 400 devices simultaneously.
An upgraded funding model
mtndao has always been free to attend, made possible by an incredible list of sponsors we've worked with over the years. We'd love to see this continue.
This year, we're giving Solana ecosystem teams a new option to sponsor mtndao by staking to our upcoming MTN validator, which we expect to unveil in the new year and will release more information on in the coming weeks.
The MTN validator — in addition to contributing towards Solana's mainnet — will have an exceptionally simple, community-focused purpose: to help fund mtnDAO.
Bring your gear
We’re excited to welcome builders from all over to the greatest mountains in the world.
Reminder: you must apply and be accepted to mtndao v9 to be allowed entry. Link below.
See you on the MTN.

hey @linear - it seems like your algorithm disregards weekends as working days on the projected cycle completion graph
we're sure startup founders represent a significant chunk of your user base so on behalf of them as well, we'd love a feature fix

🐣 It happened. Our decentralized confidential compute network, Cocoon, is live. The first AI requests from users are now being processed by Cocoon with 100% confidentiality. GPU owners are already earning TON. cocoon.org is up.
🏦 Centralized compute providers such as Amazon and Microsoft act as expensive intermediaries that drive up prices and reduce privacy. Cocoon solves both the economic and confidentiality issues associated with legacy AI compute providers.
📈 Now we scale. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be onboarding more GPU supply and bringing in more developer demand to Cocoon. Telegram users can expect new AI-related features built on 100% confidentiality. Cocoon will bring control and privacy back where they belong — with users.

Rampant content misattribution is accelerated by viral sharing and AI-generated media
The result is eroded trust
By enabling immutable content-to-creator attributions, we are here to empower evidence-backed, informed decision-making
Built on @solana

English

Why is digital media attribution necessary, now more than ever?
- EU Digital Services Act requires content accountability for platforms with 45M+ users.
- US Congressional hearings demand creator compensation solutions.
- NIST AI Safety Institute explicitly calls for attribution infrastructure.
- Regulatory pressure, creator economy maturation, and AI content explosion create unprecedented demand for attribution infrastructure.
Hint: Our blockchain-based solution addresses each of these points head on
English

@GooglePixel_US boasts "Assurance Level 2" C2PA integration - impressive engineering that proves content came from genuine devices.
But here's the problem: creators don't need proof their camera is real. They need proof they created content first.
And consumers? They need records of verifiable attribution so they can determine the sources for what they're looking at
The @C2PA_org solution is inherently flawed and doesn't address deepfakes or content attribution. It breaks the moment someone uses TikTok, CapCut, Instagram, or virtually any platform they're not partnered with.
What creators actually need:
source verifiability, and it matters more than AI detection (supported by research dating back to 1953)

ATTRIBUTION CRISIS MONDAY - Week of Oct 6th
This week's evidence that current attribution infrastructure is fundamentally broken:
- Google Pixel 10 launches "tamper-proof" C2PA - but 80% of metadata vanishes when content hits TikTok, Instagram, or any non-partner platform
- Multiple TikTok accounts claiming the same viral video with zero way to prove original creator
- Major news outlets still using "alleged" photos because they can't verify source authenticity
- $39B lost annually while platforms play attribution detective with "he said, she said" evidence
The pattern is as follows:
Hardware solutions that break at sharing.
Platform tools that don't scale.
Manual review that doesn't work.
Even the @C2PA_org's "cryptographically secure" attestation fails the moment content moves between platforms

Monday prep: After diving deep into @GooglePixel_US's inadequate @C2PA_org implementation this weekend, here's what we'll be monitoring tomorrow 👀
• How platforms handle C2PA metadata when it gets stripped (spoiler: 80% of images lose it)
• Creator disputes on TikTok/Instagram where C2PA would be useless anyway
• Any news about C2PA partnership failures or platform dropouts
The gap between "hardware attestation" and "who made this content" is going to be on full display.
Anyone familiar with the last month's partnership between the Pixel 10 lineup and C2PA?
